I just wanted to hear what people think is going to happen with the goalkeeper situation in january. With Harper still injured, is it likely that Forster will be recalled for cover of Krul, who had a shocker against Arsenal this week.

What are our options if he is recalled? A loan move for Given? Zaluska? or buy out the remainder of Westwood's contract at Coventry.

Hope we can keep Forster long term and also pick westwood on a free.

That would be the best option I think. Keep hoping and praying for that
    outcome.

Forster is pish, bring in given or westwood.
Forster is not good enough, makes lots of bad mistakes.

Forster has been immense for Celtic! What are you on?! One poor clearance against Rangers somehow cancels out all the brilliant saves he has made and makes him pish? Every goalkeeper makes mistakes and, for his part, Forster has made remarkably few since joining us.

I don't know how you can say that. Forster pulled of a World class save the other night that kept us in the Cup. He has been playing brilliantly all season for us until Loovens started * things up for us. Even his poor kick out in the Ranger's game didn't cost a goal, there were several players involved in that incident who could have stopped Millar's goal, and Millar almost missed the fucken penalty.

I don't know how you can say that about Forster.

Also, I think Westwood is too much of a step down from Forster and Boruc.

Hopefully his contract situation, has no break clause, I don't want to be losing our first choice keeper in january. Unless we are getting Given and keane for six months.

I hope that we can sign Forster. I really don't want another loan come January.

"started early" as in on the bevvy!

Forster seems like a great lad and is a great keeper for only 22 years old. Only advice I would give him is to shout and communicate more with the defenders.

Well here's the goalkeepers position as I see it, a family connection of mine who is employed by Coventry City, says that Westwood is stalling on signing a new contract with City, because he has his heart set on signing for us, apparently he is playing brilliantly for Coventry, and getting rave reviews.Only 20 year old too I think. As for big Forster, I think the big guys been more than decent for us since he came up, aye he made a baws up in the kickout for the hun's goal, and maybe a wee blip here or there, but overall lets remember he's just turned 22, and look at how commanding and confident he is, the big guy is gonnae be a belter of a keeper, once he plies a fast learning apprenticeship. I'd love him and Westwood to be our two keepers.

Fraser has played at both of my clubs, Celtic and Stockport County and he was great at County and has had a decent time with us now and I think that he is probably one of the best keepers in the SPL personally, one or two mistakes doesn't make him 'pish' he is young and still learning, I think that Given would be an ideal choice, or Wayne Hennessey isn't getting a game at Wolves and he looks pretty immense as well!

Heres hoping we can get Forster in on a permanent deal, he has impressed me so far.

I can't see Given staying with us for longer than six months tbh if he does come atall. I Hope he proves me wrong :celt_2:.
