I go with this ,really where do you stop ,personally speaking ive seen better players than Henrik in the hoops but we cant have statues of every great player who passed through the Celtic tunnel.

Well there's definitely going to be a statue of big Cesar outside. For Henrik to show the loyalty he did was great. Too many players ready to move for a bigger pay packet and such. Got to do something for him.

How high do people rate him in regards to the most iconic and important figures in the clubs history?

Jock Stein, Jinky, Tommy Burns, (maybe) Cesar all come before Larsson although he is my favourite player ever.

I hope we can name something after him other than a plaque but I think there are too many statues already and Henrik is behind a few others in the waiting list.

It's a no for me. Although Henki was the best player I've seen at Celtic park, and is a true legend, we can't have a statue made for every great player. But we should have some sort of plaque in remeberance of how he is one of the best players to play in the famous Hoops.

How there's no statue already is beyond me. The reason I now about Celtic is because of Henrik Larsson.

He comes back as manager and leads us to 10IAR and the Champions League, then the statue.

(That'll be a yes to the statue, btw.:50:)

    Absolutely not.

It seems like the legend grows every year. It's funny to me how we've built Larsson up to be like Superman.

I started going to games regularly the same year as my username, so I was fortunate enough to witness Henrik's entire run with us. He was the best player we've had in my lifetime, there's no question about that. But his importance and influence has been hugely exaggerated over the years. There's no way he should be mentioned in the same breath as guys like James McGrory or the Lisbon Lions, nevermind have a statue made for him.

Should have retire the number 7 in his honour

Then when he becomes manager, he could bring it out of retirement and passed it on to one of his signings who in turn would go on to be twice the player of Larsson.

    If Carling did wishfull thinking

The New York Yankees have a little park with monuments to their greatest players inside their stadium maybe something like that would be feasible, with plaques or small statues in a corner of the stadium

Superman had Kryponite as a weakness, name Henrik's?

You must have been working in the car park for 8 years.

Now your exaggerating, He was the most influencial player of the last 20 years.

I'm exaggerating what exactly, the achievements of McGrory or the Lisbon Lions? :97:

Aye, he was our most influential player of the last 20 years. But one of our most important, influential players ever? Not even close.
