Celtics drop to 1-6 in pre-season after losing 104-89 to the T-Wolves, Gerald Wallace led Boston with 16 and already for the second time in his short Cs career he has ripped into his teammates after the game for their attitudes and application in the pre-season match-ups saying that they are playing selfish, just going through the motions and are not putting in the effort the other teams are.

Wonder how far the Celtics could fall this season, same with the Lakers. Could be a mental season of shifts in power.

Neither will make the playoffs, I guarantee it. Celtics will be bottom 5 I reckon.

Greg Oden made a return in his first NBA game since 2009 playing 4 minutes in the Heats game tonight, scored 2 points and had 2 boards and 2 turnovers.

So chuffed for Oden. Really hope he can stay fit, could be a really important player the season. A genuine big man is what the Heat have been missing for years.

Thnik your right. The Celtics will be one of the worst teams in the league. They only have one quality player left in Rondo and he is injured.

Suns have traded Marcin Gortat, Shannon Brown and a couple of other lower players to the Wizards for Emeka Okafor and a protected 2014 1st round draft pick, Okafor is actaully out indefinately with a neck injury so it looks like the Suns are doing this move to make sure they tank this season.

Here's how Bill and Jalen have the top 10 going into this season:

    10 Knicks
    9 Warriors
    8 Rockets
    7 Nets
    6 OKC
    5 Clippers
    4 Pacers
    3 Spurs
    2 Heat
    1 Bulls

EDIT: Simmons has lost his mind. I know he hates the Heat, but this is ridiculous.

First day of games in the new NBA season, Miami beat Chicago 107-85, Indiana beat Orlando 97-87 and surprisingly the Lakers, who were supposed to suck this season especially with Kobe, beat the Clippers 116-103 with their bench scoring 76 points.

Big win for Miami after all the buzz back around Chicago. Shocked by the Lakers, perhaps they have more depth than we thought??

What a team performance by The Heat. Just shows it isn't all about the big 3. Everybody chips in, unreal how important Chalmers, Haslem, Andersen, Battier, Allen, Anthony, Jones and Cole are. Then there is Beasley, Oden, Lewis who need to prove their worth but could be vital... especially Oden as a big man, Lewis's experience and Beasley's knowledge of what it is like to play for Miami with D.Wade.

Well that Sixers first quarter glory was shortlived :smiley-laughing002: Can't see them taking the W now.
