Is the reason the Celtics being popular on here just the name? Or a glory hunting thing?

The lakers have a much stronger team than Boston. As usual, hardly a chance in *. Lakers and Heat will go for it for me.

That's like trying to link Celtic with the Celtics though. And there's nothing in it at all mate. I've lived in Boston all my life, the Irish association was obviously a long time ago. No one cares for that stuff anymore. Just the way it is.

Go to Celtic Park - You'll see plenty of Celtics gear. No one that attends the Garden would wear a Celtic shirt. Not because they don't like Celtic, because they don't like soccer and obv it's nothing to do with their team. Which is why I have never understood why our fans show up to CP in Boston stuff. Gets hard to tell what country I am! :56:

I know there is no association between the 2 clubs but it was the team I was drawn to for those reason the fact I was very young probably had an influence on the decision and reasoning behind it but it's something I never regretted

Why are they actually called Celtics anyway? it doesnt make sense really as there isnt a "Celtic" to be a Celtics.

I know absolutely * all about what teams are good and stuff but I decided * it and stuck a fiver on Oklahoma to beat Chicago Bulls and LA Clippers to beat Portland Trail Blazers...is there a chance of this happening or would I have been better off burning my fiver?

I am very pleased with this amazing start by the Golden State Warriors. It hurt to give up a 14 pt lead to the Lakers on Saturday night though. :31:

I have witness various levels of success with the Pistons and even less from the Cavaliers. I started following the Warriors back when Chris Mullin was on the team with Tim Hardaway and Mitch Ritchmond. Run TMC was entertaining if not very successful. They practically had to score 120 pts in order to have any chance of winning a game. :smiley-laughing002:

That was a pretty certain bet, the Thunder and Clippers are two of the best teams in the league. The Bulls are good, but missing their best player and the Trail Blazers are in a rebuilding period! Nice work :icon_mrgreen:
