    I was driving along Crookston Road this morning towards PRW and the guy in front of me swerved suddenly into the outside lane to avoid a hole.

    I was hemmed in so had to just go over it. It was as if id hit something as the car jerked violently and there was a big bang. When I get home I see it has smashed some of the wheel trim and it was almost off completely.

    What the * do people pay road tax for? Am * fuming :47:.
    :47:

    On a brighter note, it's my girlfriends car!

    Saw a guy taking photos of a pot hole he had drove over a few days ago in the East End. I'm sure there is a case for compensation if you complain as Minty says.

    The roads in Glasgow are an absolute disgrace.

    The roads in the east end have been a mess since last winter. The council just keep filling the bigger ones with a that temporary tar stuff that only lasts a few weeks, rather than spend money getting the roads properly surfaced.

    * scumbags.

    The area around Parkhead is horrendous for driving on. To be fair though there is little point speniding huge money to fix the holes now that it is almost winter and they will just reappear again.

    Third world countries have better roads than Glasgow.

    The bridge over the M8 between PRW and Dumbreck road was closed about two months ago for total re-surfacing (was the popes route from the M8 to the park) and already theres a * big * hole in the outside lane. :31:

    Try being a cyclist. Potholes become a matter of life and death at times when I'm on a bike.
