When Scotty is finally usurped by Biram and has to make do with a place on the bench i would happily give the Armband to big Maj..

A definate contender and one of only two or three that look like they could rise to the challenge.....but to early....wait untill Christmas for a change....or the inevitable Brown suspension, whatever comes first.

 

I defo think White Bobo, will be captain eventually, he is what we have been missing for so long IMO. he is also a smart cookie by the looks of things, let him settle and he will prob take over all on his own........

 

agree here. another option would be kayal or ledley when they sit in front of the defence (reading the game and commanding wise), but as mentioned in terms of time served here its a wee bit doubtful that either will get it anytime soon.

 

I don't care if he is only at the club, you can tell on the pitch that he is a leader and he obviously has the guys in the dressing room on his side and seems like a big character. Brown is a dud and does nothing to motivate the team and that is when we are winning, he was invisible last year and at Ibrox when we needed a captain to stand up and be counted when we needed him most the clown got himself sent off. Id agree, give Big Dan the captaincy!

We've won every SPL game with Brown being Captain, so why change it?

I would be delighted if Lenny gave the armband to Majstorovic, but it won't happen for a while yet, as we have gone 4 games and 4 wins without conceding a goal.

Personally, I would have stripped Brown of captaincy after the away game in Utrecht, when Lenny said he subbed him because he thought he would get himself SENT OFF.

But it won't happen for a while guys.

Maloney is never a captain. I've barely seen him speak on the park or shout orders at anyone. Don't think he's got it in him. Brown should be captain if he's going to get a game but if not then Lennon needs to think about who he's going to hand the armband to next. Needs to be someone that's going to be first on the team sheet every week.

I would give it to big Dan straight away. Don't think anyone else is capable of being the leader that we need. No offence to Brown but I think the captaincy is just too big for him and actually think he would become a better player without that weight of expectation on him.

 

Lennon said he wants players that will throw thereselves in front of anything to win games and big maj is testemant to than.

Brow just throws himself at players.

Big maj is already looking like the captain even without the armband anyway..

 

Bit early really, guy's just in the door. I'm not Brown's biggest fan but I don't think chopping and changing captain at this stage would do much for the attitude in the dressing room
