the abuse the whole team took that day was disgraceful and it's hurtful to watch this again but facts are facts. not sure why people are so quick to defend the guy. many people who still rate him are probably just as confused as to why people like me slate him but facts are facts and can't be distorted. he's not the stand up celtic man he's made out to be. on at least 3 occasions this year, when another player scores he walks off and has a wee moan by himself. that's a celtic man? we peel apart the diet huns and instead of gathering with the rest of the team after the game he goes and stands in the tunnel by himself and has a pout.

 

i like sammy but we have to move on, best for both parties imo.

You could say i didn't quite phrase that correctly and im not the only one to imply that kind of thinking in this thread. People mention he played pish when he came on against hearts? thats utter * people. He played well and could have scored 2/3 goals one of which was fine but was ruled offside.

I mean you slate the guy for not having a footballing brain but * me he is one of our only players who does have a fricking footballing brain. Not gifted? * me again he is almost our most gifted player. It is apparent he needs confidence yet at every turn fans slaughter him when he has played well. Best fans in the world my * balls.
Its fine to slate a player when they aren't playing well but in my opinion its just fans finding one player to offload their own feelings about how crap our start to the season has been with reference to europe. This happened with naylor and Telfer who fans just got on the back on and no matter how well they played in a game just wouldn't admit it, * hypocrisy.

 

What player are you watching? The guy's decision making is abysmal. If he's got a football brain then it's broken.

Marky i know what you mean by making wrong decisions but every player makes wrong decisions, he has a football brain because he knows how to make runs, how to play wide of a three when he needs to, playing one up front albeit not effectively but he will still do it. Of course people find his infuriating or irritating because i do as well. But to state he is just useless is so far off the mark its untrue.

When samaras receives the ball then goes back then plays a pass forward the whole crown just groans. Then they see what a good pass it turned out to be because many times samaras * he going backwards *, gtf, hes terrible then 20 seconds later him going backwards then playing a forward pass has resulted in chances created and goals scored. There are other players in our squad right now who i would rather not give a contract to than samaras.

 

Delighted to keep one of our most talented, frustrating, under estimated and vastly over abused (by Celtic fans) current players.

 

Samaras can be summed up by that moment against Braga when he was out wide left and everybody wanted him to cross on his lesser favoured foot.

Then he crosses with his right which results in a goal. He really is the most unfairly treated player I've seen in the Hoops. He's been good to excellent this season but I've not seen any of his critics give him even that.
