    Uggh Edu. Jammy basterd.

Anyway, I wake up, usually at a good time. I go to bed late at night so I wake up later on, gantin for the game to start. I think of us scoring, then the uns scoring. I watch the build up and let the exitement build up inside me. When the game kicks off and we score I let out a huge roar.

I'm 59 years old and the night before a Rangers game I'm like a child on Christmas Eve, cool as a cucumber but full of antisipation if that makes sense.
    Get the next one on.

Soon as i wake up its psssht and the cans are open then its pacing around the room belting out Celtic songs in front of the mirror getting myself pumped up. If i'm at the game, looking all around CP thinking this is what life is all about if i'm watching it on tv its "dont * speak to me unless your spoken to for the next 105 mins cos this is what life is all about"
If we win, i feel 10 feet tall and its party time
If we lose, I spend the next few hours thinking what positive thing can i do with my life to make up for this defeat
Oh, and there's only one better feeling in life than seeing Celtic score a winner against the huns.....
Jumping around crazy singing "Can ye hear the rangers sing"
I'm in thailand for the first game in Oct, would imagine I'd something more interesting to add to this post then :icon_mrgreen:

I dont get excited or nervous about it, im usually calm but cant wait to get the game started. I have a booze in the fridge to take with me, usually a few cans and a bottle of buckfast or two halfs, i drink the wine before the game and a couple of cans and keep a couple of cans for the way back aswell. If we win i party, if it's a draw just have a wee drink and if we get beat i just go straight home and stay in without drinking more probably go to bed or watch the other games that are on or a few films and try to forget about it.

When we score against them I go mental same as every body, last season the first one at Ibrox I had my McGeady scarf and after he scored the penalty I just stood for about 5 minutes staring at the huns fans with the scarf in the air :D I was sitting near the front quite close to them a few of them were ragin

Its day of anxiety until it is over. To be honest I think it means more to people who stay in Glasgow and have to go out in the street after the defeat and see all the scummy * walking about with there tops on especially if, like me, you stay about 3 minutes away from Ibrox. If we win its the best feeling ever :icon_mrgreen:. I we loose, It ruins my full day and I tend to lock myself away.

Obviously I can't go to the matches because there is an ocean and some land between me and Glasgow, but it's always an exciting/anxious day and that's a match I will not miss if I can help it. I am usually not someone who calls in sick for work when I'm not actually sick because I recognise my responsibility, but I will for old firm matches, and when I was in Uni I would skip class, anything, as long as I didn't miss the match.

For me it starts as soon as the game before it finishes, talking about it and predicting how we will line up and what tactics will be used with mates and then throughout the week trying to ignore all the pish that the papers make up about our players. The night before it is * i cant sleep and its all i can think about, not helped with watching the 6-2 dvd and hammering them on fifa, when i do finally get some sleep its only for a few hours. The morning consists of getting up and ready ridiculously early if im at home or if im at my girlfriends ill just lie in bed and try to talk to her about it but she'll get * if i wake her up too early then ill have some food and head to the game getting more nervous by the minute, usually walking up to the ground is spent phoning my dad, texting mates and checking on here for any team news. Soon as i get to the ground ill get up to my seat and tell the guys behind me early team news if i know it. Once the game has started i can't sit still and when we score it's the best feeling in the world but if we concede it is the absolute worse, its a thousand times worse when we concede when your there seeing them go crazy and i can only hope we can get another goal.
If we win im on top of the world nothing can take me down and i want to to to the pub and party all night,if we draw ill be in a bit of a weird mood glad we have a point but thinking about what could have been but if we lose im in a really bad mood the whole night and will just spend the night in my room watching tv avoiding everyone and probably go for an early night to try and forget the result and sometimes ill still be in a bad mood the next day. I only have 1 rule,i NEVER predict the score, dont want to tempt fate.
Can't wait for the first of this season.

living in canada, its much different than over there (dur:rolleyes:)

if its a early game, (430 am here) it consists of me going to bed the night before at around 6 pm, regardless of if i will sleep or not, i set my alarm for 3 am, but it doesnt really matter as im usually awake around 1-2, if i got any sleep

ill be nervous as *, ill have the jitters, usually ill go for a run or take the dog for a walk (my dog will go for a walk no matter what time), lift weights for a bit

around 330, ill hook my tv up to my computer, maybe have a shower, watch the pregame and ill watch it

i turn off my phone (as if anyone will call me at 4 am ), shut the doors into the living room, really just shut myself off from the family, unless my da wants to watch then * stumble in and watch for a bit then go back to bed

if we win, ill phone up my friends, send smart-* emails to my hun-cousins, save people from burning buildings etc

if we lose im an * for the rest of the day.. actually, thats just when we lose, when we lose to the scum, im a * for a good 3-4 days after,

my family is steeped in irish and scottish politics, one side of my family being irish, the other being scottish-english, whenever we get one up on the huns... its a great big GIRFUY to the english part, who a select few of wont talk to me if im wearing a celtic top :icon_mrgreen: (the less they talk to me the better)

when we tied them at parkhead last season, and fortune had a goal disallowed, the feeling in the pit of my stomach was only describable as sick, i felt physically sick

when we won 2-1, when naka absolutely SLAYED them, jan with the last minute header after mcdonald missed from the spot, when cuellat the little cheating * kept naka from getting the brace, when the commentator said "THEY ARE STILL IN THE TITLE RACE"

and when we won, 3iar, that about sums it up for me :icon_mrgreen:

After reading all these posts, and some crackers, if we ever went to a skull doctor after a loss he would tell us we need help, and our response would be "aye we need help defending and we need help scoring * goals". there is no way to explain the two ends of that spectrum to someone not involved.
If we went to the same doctor after a win he would tell us "whatever vitamins your taking continue taking".
Since the 60's for the most part we as fans have been very lucky, I used to some times think of that generation before, ok they had Hampden in the sun but the poor souls for the most part took a hiding, but never gave up.
