Basically, what are the best urban legends you have heard?

You know the one about the woman who kept a pet snake and it slept lengthways beside her, cause it was sizing her up to eat her etc etc etc.

You hear of all sorts of things on the net from spirits haunting abandoned railway tunnels and ghostly hitchhikers.

It probably varies but roughly that there was a white van full of mental * called the killer clowns going about glasgow that would pull up unexpectedly then jump out and slash you at either side of yr mouth giving you a big clown smile scar. Think i've maybe missed out some stuff it was a good 10 year ago

I remember * * myself about it anyway, where else in the world do 5 year olds get told that there is clowns going about in a white van, kidnap you the give you a glasgow grin haha

I liked the one about the guy who was off his face on acid and told his mate that he had caught a leprechaun when he was on his way home and had trapped it in his cupboard.
