What the * is this demi * status thing for McCourt. The guy does not and will never be a professional footballer as he cannot sustain a basic level of fitness which is the one thing that is essential in the modern game, without it you will achieve nothing!!

 

got to admit that is the most persuasive case to punt him I have seen posted. He has a scoring rate I could live with for a 2nd striker but its hard to accept that combined with a very low assist rate. On the other hand you get what you pay for and he was cheap.

 

Perhaps if he brushed it to one side we might be able to see his face:icon_mrgreen:

he has scored 4 goals in competitive games in 2010 that is not even good enough for a midfielder never mind a striker

 

The problem is that Sammy has never been a centre forward but due to his height is perceived to be. IMO is best position is left side of a three which is where he has been playing of late and where, from that position, he scored a shed load for Heerenveen. The writing was on the wall for Sammy when we bought Murphy, who is IMO, a vastly inferior player. The emergence of Forrest, that we were knocked out of Eurpoe and the fact that Sammy's contract is up end of this season might also have forced NLs hand. Sammy's inconsitency is his downfall but I would still argue that we are a better team with him in it because he can do the unexpected.

Again as i said before flatters to decieve. Yes hes does the unexpected but for most of them causes a break down of our attack.

samaras is one of the worst strikers i have seen in a celtic jersey he looks like bambi on ice...slows the play down and his hold up play is terrible why is there even an argument here ?if there is a chance to punt him get him to * and quick ,he has fooled 3 managers and by the sounds of it alot of fans on here seriously who are you watching?it is the big dumplin wearing number 9 aye?

 

i seen in the celtic game thread before it was closed that paddy came on and changed the game oh dear * he done nothing to change the game like some people think, he was ok

some fans really do think he is the best player in the world, he is a no bad player with a bit of skill

 

did you ever see tony cascarino play for celtic, for me he has been the worst even ST who played for celtic

 

I don't think he's that bad.
There's been many times where he's came deep, picked the ball up and started off the attack.
I don't think selling him is a good idea, as we're thin enough of Forwards as it is, unless you wanna ask Cha to get his shooting boots out of retirement? lol.
I think we should be punting fringe players that aren't in Lennon's plans before Samaras.

i'm so tired of the daft comparison between sammy and paddy. the only defence for how shockingly bad your favorite player is, is to point out how bad a player is that plays a different position?
