loovens was the second worse player on the park behind mulgrew

 

hoiveld had an absolute stinker ! your quick to slag people you dont like . just be honest. he had an absolute nightmare. loovens didnt do too much wrong. im not loovens biggest fan but on that showing he was better than hoiveld. FACT !

 

Loovens was pants, he got caught under a 50 yard clearance from a corner and was lucky not to leave someone in on the keeper- might not be doing to much wrong but that is the basics- not to mention his only pass is a long diagonal. The entire defence has it all to prove really, the CB's were nowhere for the Braga goal- Mulgrew is laughable. I agree that Hooiveld should focus on his game, if he can do it on the park then by all means talk it up afterward

I have to admit I flat out have just liked this guy from the moment he signed for us. As he says himself he has done nothing yet to deserve any praise. But I really hope he comes good and solves one of the center back problems for us. We don't just need leaders we need players that get us excited about watching Celtic play. The current team doesn't have that. Hooiveld certainly has personality so I am pulling for him to make it at Celtic.

The last two years make that statement a joke and our own fans are starting to sicken me.

The negativity is atrocious and just plain wrong.

I know its off track but why the * did we sign Mulgrew ? The guy was not good enough before so what has changed ?

 

Because we had zero recognised left-backs in the squad when you need 2. Mulgrew was supposedly "SPL quality" but for me he's barely even that. I can see why we signed him but we desperately need better...

 

How can Mulgrew be called a left back the guy cant defend , He should be moved into midfield .

 

I agree - might have some uses as backup for left-wing in a 4-4-2 but he shouldn't be starting either position.

 

I wonder how many other people who have slated Jos didn't bother reading the article.
