Lennon: I Need to Sell

which boils down to the board sanctioning signings and the wages being paid out which puts the ball firmly in their court for going ahead and signing a massive squad i.e quantity instead of quality really poor decisions at board level have put our club back years

 

of course we need to sell, we have too many players.

how thick are some of use fans, jesus christ, listening to some of use worrying that with ten million pounds in the bank and we have to sell, its because the size of the squad, and reason for loans was all young players to gain experience getting first team football instead of gettin odd game from time to time or few minutes hear, do you not listen to the words lennon said, and we do have a massive squad, and makes perfect sense if wants to bring in 3 new players which will be gk, cb and cf. and use are complaining think before use speak eh, * me off how fickle some of use are and dont understand what * is going on???

now your telling me we dont need to sell 2 possible 3 players if bringing in 3 new players.
i expect loovens and crosas to be first 2 out the door, and dont think any celtic fans compain about this, possible marc antione fortune also. lennon is doing the right thing and use still complain come on guys get a grip and think about what you going to say and the reasons for this before talk crap????

The thing thats really bugs me is the fact that almost every player we are going for is a loan signing, when we've got the McGeady and Boruc money and whatever other funds there to be spent. Like a guy said in the Record, its like winning the pools then tapping someone for a fiver.
I agree that the squad is a bit big and we need to made a few cuts (Loovens, Crosas etc) but surely we would be better getting rid of the deadwood, adding a quality keeper and striker and having them settled instead of knowing they will just * off come the end of the season.

 

To be honest, I think it's pretty much a direct result of being on our third manager in as many years. You can't bring in a new manager and not let him sign his own players. So we've got a squad full of Strachan players, Mowbray players and Lennon players, and we can't just terminate their contracts if the latest manager disnae fancy them.

 

lets break this down for the thick people on this site, that say we should be * off having to sell players when brought in over 14million pounds and spent 7 million on players but we have to sell to bring in new players.

The Celtic manager has already bought nine new Bhoys - but he wants three more.

i know what you are saying but just a few changes here and there are probably better than wholesale ones you cant just sign your way out of this which is why im saying it all goes back to the board and * poor decision which is why lennon is now having to carry the can after mowbray which leads us back to the board and their * about after differant managers

Two I wouldn't mind seeing the back of are Loovens and Croscas. Think it would be a little harsh to ship Fortune out as he seems to be up for it this year, however if getting shot of him means a quality keeper and striker then I am all for it.

dont get your post mate, every player we are after is a loan signing? how you work out every player. the only players that offically we know bout is bullard and weiss and given and bellamy, and weiss we was only enquiring about the player. so how can you say every player is a loan player, now if you tellin me if got given and bellamy on loan for a season, you be * off, not been funny id be over the moon *. rest of players we have got, are all bought and payed for mate, so dont see where your coming from, unless been reading football rumour website lol and taking that into consideration. when you can really only go by celtic fc and no one else as press talk *, websites come up with some crap mate???

look we do understand the facts thats why we are on here discussing it we all know the squad is to big we are maybe just a bit * off as to why problem positions have not been filled yet and our manager is saying he needs to get rid of players if so then why so many loan deals going out on our part just let surplus players go if they are not needed easily trims down the squad i.e cut your losses instead of shipping out wages
