He said he wants to be the next lubo and be a hero here, so we could make it permanent next year if he does well, so its not just short term loan and thats it, theres a good chance of a permanent deal after

Slovak winger Weiss comes highly recommended by Celtic legend Lubo Moravcik.
The Manchester City wide man said: "I'd love to play for Celtic. It would be like a dream come true. Lubo rang my dad then I spoke to Lubo myself, it was all positive."

Defo great player i remember pre-season last year he ripped us apart great prospect would really get the fans excited. Would be good to have Forrest on one wing and Weiss on another 2 young wingers would be great.

Weiss is a different level to all the creative players we have already. With Lubo's influence and the support he would receive from the fans he might just fall in love with the place and be up for staying

He would be a better winger than any currently at the club IMO, and can also play as an central attacking midfielder which is handy.

He reminds me of mcgeady because he always wants to beat another man, in saying this he has pace to burn, lots of skill and can score goals so he should improve the side.

And they'd both bring something different Weiss would be the skilful technical one who would create a lot I reckon he'd get about 7-10 goals as well.

Forrest would be the direct powerful one who I think would get a load of assists if he was in the team, and he has a unique ability to go past players easily with out using massive skill he'd get goals he looks like a goal scorer.

Don't care how good he is, Man City have said that they would only loan him out and not sell him outright as they see him in the future starting 11. Don't think it would be wise for us to take him on board and develop him for Man City when we have our own guy Forrest who should be getting game time this season.

At least he has came out and said that he would love the chance unlike others who continue to dragging on and on, while leading us astray to disappear to another club.

The Bhoys have also been linked with City keeper Shay Given, who lost his place in the side for the Premier League opener with Tottenham to Joe Hart.[IMG]
Weiss is hoping a double switch can be agreed and is looking forward to finding out if a move will be possible.
"I know Celtic are linked with Shay as well," he added. "I'm not sure if City would let us go to the same club, we'll have to wait and see but that would be great.
"That's another reason I have to wait as Celtic are trying to get Shay as well so it might depend on that. I'm sure I'll find out on Monday what's happening.
"It could be an exciting move if it happens and I'd be really happy if that's how it turns out."

Weiss and Given - that would be good! :icon_mrgreen:

Would prefer that to say just getting Bellamy. Given would be just as big as the 2 Keanes signing for us. Don't think this will even take of the ground for Given though! Weiss seems really keen on coming up, that whats making me warm to him. Surely Lubo has had a wee word with him as he coached him and played with his dad for the national team.

Lad looks good and I hear off a Man City Season ticket holder that he's future potential for them and they would never consider selling as he's too good.

Look forward to seeing him get a chance and Forrest.

great player, would be a very good addition. however i agree with some other that if it means forrest won't get a chance then i would be a little hesitant. but him on one wing and forrest on the other would be a nice little idea. IMO i think brown is off to boro, we have bough far to many midfielders for no selling movement to take place in the centre of midfield.
