Panic buying?

to be honest everyone knows lennon not stupid, after all he had MON at leicester and celtic, to be honest i believe lennon be very simalar to him, where he wants his team to be how he wants to play, and the same hard lined attitude from all his players, ok pre season not been great but lot of positives from pre season, after all had awesome pre season last year everything looked great and look what happened, this time not so great but with lennon i can see lot of awesome quallities and the fact he stands up for his team and doesnt let anyone talk crap about his team, just like MON, SIR ALEX FERGUSON, AND JOSE MOURINHO. not saying he be as great as them, but you never know, but he is the main man who standing up for his team and players and showing real passion which i knew he would after all what he was like as a player. so cant see lennon panic buying, he would of sat down with the board, and 2 sets of players he after, the ones with zero transfer money, and the one with transfer money, that why no players in this week, really believe lawrence be great buy after all when rep of ireland play mc geady is on bench and lawrence plays on the park, and trappatoni one of the great managers of this era. so he knows what he doing. we had to let boruc go, or would lost out on him for nothing and after all its a buisness, so had to be done, weather like it or not, football a buisness and board there to make club money and lose us money like across the road....... the players he brought in had to get fast after all juarez had good world cup so im sure there was few clubs sniffing around him, ledley they had to get in fast, as lot of clubs chasing him, mulgrew we needed LB massively after selling fox, and braffield going back to bayern and naylor offski, we had nothing, mulgrew local lad, was free, and knows the club, and has a ping of left foot for set pieces, and he was aberdeen s best player by far last season scoring around 16 goals think it was. so no matter what some of use think, good buy for nothing but he will be a squad player lennon got him for, as he has said LB he does need, and wouldnt say that if thought mulgrew was first choice for LB..... TO BE HONEST I SEE GOOD BUISNESS SENSE SELL MC GEADY 10 MILLION AND TO BE HONEST HAND ON HEART DONT BELIEVE HE WORTH THAT ANYWAY MAYBE 7 TO 8 MILLION AT MAX, SO BRILLIANT BUISNESS FROM BOARD TO MOVE ON AND BRING IN LAWRENCE AT 2 MILLION, LEAVES AROUND 7.5 MILLION IF GETS IT ALL, AND HERE HOPEN HE WILL BUT I DO BELIEVE HE WILL BECAUSE LENNON VERY HONEST MAN, AND SPEAKS FROM THE HEART. WHICH I DO LOVE ABOUT HIM, HE HAS OUR CLUB IN HIS HEART, HAS REAL PASSION AND WONT GO DOWN WITH OUT A FIGHT AND THAT IS THE TRAITS I LOOK FOR IN A MANAGER FOR OUR CLUB, SO LETS SEE HOW GOOD LENNON CAN BE AS I HAVE REAL FAITH IN HIM SINCE HE WAS INTERIM MANAGER LAST SEASON

 

AND I WILL SAY THIS, FROM RESERVE MATCHES AND YOUTH MATCHES SEEN FORREST LOOKS A AWESOME TALENT, AND GAME AGAINST ARSENAL DIDNT SURPRISE ME ONE BIT AS BEEN KEEPING MY EYE ON HIM FOR AWHILE NOW, AND IF LENNON BREAKS HIM IN GENTLE THIS SEASON, EXPECT THE PLAYER TO GET BETTER AND BETTER, AND WONT BE MC GEADY ON ABOUT IT BE FORREST NAME RINGING AROUND THE GROUND WEEK IN WEEK OUT LADS, SO NO REASON TO PANIC BUY, SO JUST SILLY TALK SAYING THAT BHOYS AND GHIRLS

Your damned if you do and your damned if you don't in terms of bringing people in, unless you are Rangers of course! At the end of the day we are in transition and after the Ross County game Lenny made up his mind who was staying and who wasn't. Winning eight games in the trot at the end of the season hasn't changed his mind so as far as I am concerned keeping spending but make sure you buy players who have heart as well as skill.

 

It needed to be a busy-transfer window for celtic this year, that's why lots of new names have came in. I really don't agree with 'Panic-Buying'.

 

funny thing is when TM took over alot of the team needed changing as it was dying a slow death and just didn't seem good enough near the end of the previous season before that, which i'm sure alot of fans were saying the team needs re doing, now the argument may be TM done on a far more drastic level then any one could have ever imagined, BUT i would say he seems to lack one of the most critically important traits when trying to do such a task which was being able to man manage all the new guys.

and since TM's utter failure it is * well clear some major overhaul was needed yet again for the 2nd season running which any way you look at it is not good for a club to be doing, BUT it does need doing and this time round though i think lenny has that all important ability of being able to man manage the new guys and help every one blend and gel together as we saw some promise of such ability in the end game against arsenal (albeit a friendly).

with ALL of the signings even including Mulgrew despite his lack of defensive skills to me suggest nothing more then thought out plans on who he wants in and who he wants out all these players are here for a reason and not just to make up numbers, doubt lenny will be panic buying as TBH if he were we would have signed about 4 CB 2 LB 1 GK some more midfielders lol and a few more forwards by now as lenny trys to make up the numbers and get what ever team he can togther full of random names and suggestions that he just went and brought in without doing much research on each person.
