Just learned this. No idean what the fee will be. Probably more than £600,000. Oh well, good luck Pearo and all the best with your future career.

it was on the cards .. i do rate pearson tho full of energy, lung bursting runs into the box ,theres lots of competition at CP tho and has never really had the chance / run of games to prove himself ..he would find it hard to get a game ahead of Maloney/ Mcgeady imo.

Celtic rejected a bid from Derby last week. Wouldn't suprise me if things get concluded soon.

TBH I cant see Pearo going to Derby,, they made a bid of £600,000 which got rejected and since then they have approached Arsenal's Ryan Smith who plays in the same position as Pearson, the Smith deal is expected to be concluded tomorrow so it looks as though Pearson is in fact staying.. Think he wanted to work under Billy Davies again though.

Word is that he and Stachen have had a fall out over comments Strachan made about him in the media.

He said in some transfer thing I read earlyer that he won't be leaving I think we need to keep him if petrov goes(which does'nt look very likely)

He has scored alot of important goals for us against hearts/rangers/Dundee united

And he mostly plays in center midfield he can play on the left wing he was good in 2004 but 2005/2006 after he got injured he was'nt as good somehow he might be back to normal this season

Mate, please show me where I said that.. As I said and most people on the forum know, I follow Derby and go regularly with my next trip on the 9th Sept against Sunderland.. I said he WOULD want to go, he and Billy Davies have a good relationship and he isnt going to get 1st team football at Celtic, but to me it looks like BD is more intrested in signing Ryan Smith.

    Not.

He had potential when he joined a good few years ago and if anything he has went backwards. He is often injured and if he is fit he rarely plays anyway and there have always been rumours that he fell out with MON backroom staff and now GS.

    You are welcome to him.
