got a bit of inside information regards to big beattie situation.. my dads mate lives out at moodiesburn. and drinks with big Beatties Father.. was talking to him today he is gonna be out for at least 8 weeks .. tore his hamstring again ...hope you get back to fitness soon big man .

 

* sake, that boys just got no luck at all has he? Must be something to do with the loyalist tattoo hes got plastered all over his arm!

 

I must say I think that rumour about his tatoos is total bull, if u look he mainly wears a short sleeved shirt - that would be way too risky!

 

aye his old man was mad rangers fan he has loyalist tatoos but not sure about young beattie... he more or less supports celtic now coz his boy plays for us. hail hail!.

I think young Beattie played for Rangers and was Rangers daft as a boy, I thought u meant it was Craig who had the loyalist tatoos, my aplogies

 

Too injury prone, will he ever turn it around?

 

He and his family were Rangers DAFT but his dad goes to all the Celtic games now.

A while ago some Rangers fans from up Moodiesburn damaged some of Beattie's property because he's a '* *' now.

Beattie's since moved away but his family all live up there.

 

I rate Beattie highly. It's a * shame the poor guy can never get a string of games under his belt.

 

hope hes better soon, n bac to the best like he was at the start of last season! he started it sooo promisingly! n who gives a * if he is a rangers fan or not, oe if his family r... chris burkes family (or some of them) arre great hoops fans.... means nothing, family first!!

 

Fake its not true also strachan must be pushing him to hard he just came back from injury and was put out for 2 weeks he will be back in the squad soon

 

Think i put my opinion of the big man over in a false manner there. A fit Beattie would be a crackin player to have, hed easily get 20-30 goals if he stayed fit for a full season. Unfortunately for him and us thats never the case. Hopefully the physios and GS can do it right this time and take more care than they usually do, hes obviously got a longer recovery time than most players and the staff must keep this in mind.

 

Makes you wonder if he will ever get a good run at it. Hope he can but for some its just not meant to be. I wish him all the best

I heard John Kennedy also suffered an other setback as well.

Shame for Beattie, just shows you how much we need another striker.

Pretty gutted that Beatties out as I feel he could be a good player for us. He's far too injury prone though.
