CELTIC’S preseason programme has had its critics, but having played in every one of the warm-up matches, Stephen McManus believes that the team will now be better prepared for the campaign ahead.

The schedule is admittedly a busy one, but last season McManus was a part of the Celtic side that enjoyed a far less rigorous preseason work-out and lost then drew the first two games of the season against Artmedia Bratislava and Motherwell.

I think this was the main point of this pre-season, maybe GS went a little too extreme but we know full well what he's trying to avoid.

 

don't know what all the fuss is about.......our only problem at the moment is Europe........we'll win the league again, that's for sure.........

I'd be concerned if we get to the CL and we haven't signed a couple of quality players.........until then we're ok......

If only we did draw our first two games i seem to remember getting humped in one and shipping 9 goals in 2 games. Also we only score 2 goals in pre season friendlies and won none.

 

Great optimism mate!! It's the same every year with all the hullabaloo about our signings etc when the transfer window doesn't close for another six weeks!!

 

We won 1-0 against Everton.
