    Since it looks as tho Petrov is going for around 5m it must mean well have about 7million HOPEFULLY 2spend if we get all that cash back. I feel theres many players we could get in for that. We NEED a left back,centre mid and target man.

    For left back I fink we should take a look at Frank Quendrea as hes an established quality EPL player wanting to leave...and im sure he would join us above Charlton for no more than 1.5m. Other left back targets would be Erik Edman, another established international Swedishman, got a great left peg on him and can whip in great balls. Other possibilities are Boka of Ivory Coast and Julia Arca all under 2million easily and should be affordable!

    For midfield we should look at either Gravensen or Maniche if possible.Both are outstanding players at the right age and would offer experience and quality. Other good players would be Kranjcar and Costinha!

    Upfront I dont no who to go for as if Kluivert is going 2 command a fee hes too much a risk. Lua Lua is avaliable but isnt a target man. But we could go in for him and try Sutton again for competition altho its very unlikley. JFH was a big loss I fink as he is a target man and can do it all. Altho hes old he would have banged in the goals. But if the board are sensible and sell Petrov for 5mill plus they should give GS it all back.
    With 7m for 3 players and swerd buys we'd be a good all round team!!

    The same Kranjcar Celtic missed out on because he moved to Celta last week?

    I think if we get the £5million for Petrov and the board gives some of it to GS to play about with then we could find ourselves with a couple of real quality signings coming up.

    The big rumour over here at the moment is that Gravesen and Kluivert will be signed and unveiled by next Wednesday and this comes from somebody in Ireland who is in the know big time!!

    well i really hope your right DD gravenson would be amazing but i dont want the waster that is kluivert although if he comes you gota give anyone that plays for your club a chance but i still think we are in need of LB big time arca surely isnt out fo our price range!!! i think we realy need to get rid of petrov for anything big to happen!

    Don't really fancy Kluivert myself after watching him play a few stinkers for Newcastle but he could surprise us hopefully. Gravesen would be a super signing!

    yea i agree we need that combative type player like lenny but who is more mobile and can create things too because jj shaun and naka will all be foward thinking so we need that type of player in our midfield to be the link between midfield and defence i think everyside should have that type of player

    never heard that about kranjcer.anyways we need atleast 3 players.

    Id like to see Quendrea,Maniche and someone like Viduka in or even Kanu wif another striker.
