No chance Ki will be going, watched the game against Arsenal the other day and now and again you could hear Lenny shouting "Well done Ki, back in". He's been really encouraging him to get stuck in. Hes the best passer of the ball we have, he has a cool head, comfortable in posession, can pick a pass and can even score. Once he gets some game time in the Spl he will toughen up a bit. He's not as fragile as some like to make out.

The correct aproach, absolutely. If you are someone not used to being aggressive in defense, the best guy to guide you would be Lenny.

It's surprising to see a thread about a 21 year old player, only a few games in after a World Cup, considered one of the best upcoming players of his continent, and someone who has done or will do more in my opinion than some of Celtics others (cough BROWN cough) put up on the chopping block. No wonder he's so uncomfortable at Celtic, the fans aren't getting behind him. I'm my opinion Ki is NOT a holding midfielder as he's currently being played. In the World Cup, Ki played the Centre Midfield role while the Defensive Midfield role was covered by a mediocre Kim Jung-Woo, yet he still was able to get 2 assists (albeit from set-pieces). If 2 assists in the World Cup is contributing very little, then you guys expect too much. * even Kaka and the other top assists players only got 3. Ki only played Defensive Midfielder in his Korean League days because the pace and physicality of the game is on a lower level. He must be able to play his true position as a Centre Midfielder focused on the attack rather than the defense. Ki does not shine as a defensive player, but as an offensive one. Play him further up or free his movement up so he can sit further up the pitch. Get someone else to do that holding job. Otherwise, wait until he develops his physicality and defensive skills. He's only 21! And for those thinking that he won't see his potential, there's a reason he's playing on the international team. If he can play against various international sides, many of which could thrash Celtic or any other SPL team any day of the week, then he obviously can play against SPL teams. Let him adapt and, more importantly, develop some chemistry with his teammates. Once that's chemistry is there, he'll be the playmaker (which is traditionally more an attacking midfielder, though it can vary) he can be. First thing is first, get him off that holding midfield position. Only then will Ki shine... of course in my humble opinion.

That's the point where you finally have to accept that you'll never play for Celtic :54:

I think Neil Lennon will never give Ki a proper chance. I feel really sorry for Ki now.

I thought Ki had a bright future for Celtic. He was playing great in pre-season matches and even scored a goal against Arsenal.

His confidence was growing when he scored a first goal for Celtic. Thought he was in good form. But in the next match Neil Lennon decided not to play him against Braga.

Now that's really harsh on Ki. Obviously he was really disappointed.

Today, Celtic had a opening game. Neil Lennon decided to rest Juarez and Ki who just got back from Korea and Mexico. They both started on the bench. But Juarez got a game in 2nd half Ki didn't

That will hurt Ki's confidence. Afterall Ki will never get proper chances. No matter how Ki performs, Neil Lennon will be playing his own hand-picked players(Juarez, Ledley and Biram Kayal)

And please, please sell him to Turkish side Trabzonspor. If you're not going to play him why keep him? Trabzonspor is a good team won the league cup playing europa against liverpool. Finished 4th~5th in last season. Senol Gunes, the manager is great one too.

I like Ki, and want him to stay, but I agree that he probably won't get a chance under Lennon, if we assume Brown gets a game no matter how poorly he plays, which I'm afraid is going to be the case, that leaves Juarez, Ledley, Kayal, Ki and Crosas all competing against eachother.

And he'll be unfairly judged by a lot of fans, marked as a dud or whatever because he's not making an impact, pretty hard to do when you never get played. I mean some already think he's just a marketing ploy anyway.

    Shame, he's got potential.

Dr there is a lot of dead wood that needs off the books he is one, broon, samaras, fortune and I know lots of fans will say they bring something to this team, but for me they bring nothing but frustration, lost passes, * ball at feet, wrong pass when should have done the right thing, strikers who should be strikers???? not wingers, when was the last time we had a striker who came thro the books and made it big time??? for me is it Nicholas????

see when you see a player like juarez playing well first time coming into a team or like lubo then you can say he has potential, but for the rest forget it

he will get a chance, no doubting that even lennon said he will play a big part this season, remember he only 20 yrs old. yesterdays game, was going to be a tough one, very physical, and ki needs to do more weights to get stronger, not a game for him, thought lennon tactics where spot on, once the team got the football on the ground, ki will be a good player needs time after all 20yrs old so * on lads jesus
