People are so quick to give Neil Lennon credit for the good run we had at the end of last season, that's fine. Scott Brown played really well in that same run of form and yet that seems to get totally overlooked. Then one bad team performance into the new season and immediately Broony is head hunted, scapegoated and getting the 'Broony GTF' treatment again. It's * sad.

Scott Brown was pish the other night yes, but so were 10 other Celtic players. As far as I'm concerned this season is make or break for Broony. He's been at Celtic 3 seasons now and he hasn't shown enough consistency in his performance levels thus far................

1st Season - Ok but not what everyone had hoped for. He did have some serious personal life issues at that time though.

2nd Season - Voted POTY in Scotland by his fellow pros. All the Celtic fans who claim Broony has 'never kicked a ball for Celtic' might want to reflect on that fact.

3rd Season - Was hung out to dry by Tony Mowbray at the start of the season by being picked when carrying a bad injury and ended up putting himself out for months by playing through it. Finished the season well.

In short, Broony has been here 3 seasons now and has only put in 1 really strong season. This season he needs to become an important player for us again. Whether he will or not I do not know. What I do know is he is not a * player. Personally I would like to see him tried on the right hand side of midfield for a while instead of in the middle, he's played there for Scotland in the past and played well.

As much as he has been a let down thus far, the season hasnt even got going yet....so its difficult to 'stand up and be counted' when the whole team isn't playing well. If he is still *, when all around him start to gel then its time to say Toodle-loo!

I know that and im not happy about his form either. However, his sister was dying during his first season at Celtic, his second season was much better, and the whole team were garbage last year.

What im saying is that the problems with Celtic don't begin and end with Scott Brown.

yeah brown doesnt look the same guy as he did at hibs. I dont know why, but my gut feeling tells me to give him a few more games see what happens.

If brown gets droped, Ledley and Juariez can play in the centre together, and I wanna see that, Because on stats, Ledley is a goal scorer and brown is not!!

In managment you have to be ruthless, brown does not justify his place in the team and should be dropped..........:shamrock:

I'm sure he has the balls but Neil Lennon appears to rate Scott Brown as a player so I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for Broony to be dropped.

I've seen a different side to Brown in pre season, he seemed more determined in chasing the ball down and when he had it at his feet he seemed more confident and able to pick a pass etc..

Obviously all of that was missing against Braga but in fairness the whole team was poor so he can't be singled out. If ge takes his pre-season form into the league season then I'd be happy, considering he is now Celtic captain I doubt he'll be leaving anytime soon so it's important we get behind him.

an interesting way of looking at things.from my perspective i see: 1st season:indifferent form Rangers on top until suspension FORCES Broon out of the side, end season with Broon bit part player and CELTIC champions

2nd season Broon "stars" in midfield whole season-Rangers win league
    3rd season "" "" "" "" "" "" "" -you get the drift
    4th season PLEASE * SELL THE *!!!:31:

How many different CM pairing with Brown included have we tried over the past 3 years? Brown with Donati, Hartley, Robson, N'Guemo, Crosas etc etc and none has looked anywhere decent. On the other hand, Hartley and Robson won us the league. it's either coincidence that no CM combo with Brown included seems to be working properly or any CM combo with Brown won't work at all. I let you to decide.

an old saying goes, if the whole world hates you, who is to blame, the world or you?
