i think * take a shot at the c.l first and if he scores 4-5 goal in the qualifiers and group stages and 25+ in the league then hes a cert to go next year for 10m+ as hes proved he can do it at the top level

 

If indeed his ambitions lie elsewhere AND If we qualify for the CL, and he scores a few, then it might be the best thing to immediately capitalise at the end of next season.

 

He was only saying what nearly every player on the planet wants. To play for the world's best team. You've got to have ambition and Hoop's is no different, even though he's playing for the best team in the world right now.

People read to much into these papers and their twisting of words.a bit like Lenny was supposed to have said "this current team can win the CL".

 

tbf, if you made it 29 goals then youd have to make it 9 goals for Carroll

 

I think it is the fact that Hooper is in the SPL.

 

dont think Southampton will be bidding they just bought Rodriguez for 7 mil

Good news. That's one potential buyer out the way. Say what you like about the few negative aspects of his game, but his stats speak for themselves and he is undoubtedly one of our best and most important players. He has a particularly good record against the Huns too.

 

I prefer the lazy player, the type that can get the golden boot every year. rather than the Donkey type, that runs about doing nothing more than, racing and chasing shadows. you have all seen the type, arms in the air when things don't go right. always have plenty to say. always in the paper saying what they are going to do this and that but never do Didley *. HOOPER all day long for me.

 

Really hope we can hold onto him.

Has anyone got that interview with Gary Hooper after the Ross County Scottish Cup game (I'm sure) September 21st 2011, where Gary refers to Rangers as "them"?

 

where did I mention BROWN here, unless you are of the opinion, that the description is of him, that is down to you. I can under stand why you would have reached that assumption, but I never mentioned BROWN , as I say HOOPER ALL DAY LONG FOR ME
