    i think we need about another 2 attcker's and 1 expenced defender and we should be on our way to doing what should have been done 2 years ago and grind those basterds into the ground on witch they stand

    yes i have doubts because we dont have a defence or a strikeforce . but ill back lenny all the way he'll get it right, its up to us (the fans) to bring back the thunder

    i dont think we will make the CL this season,hopefully make the europa, as for the league, i want this come may next year, a poor huns team or not,the dark side must not be under estimated

    we will be stronger than last so mon the hoops :shamrock:

    id say buy all these young players and keep this squad and let them gel together for the next say... 3 years, signing 2 or 3 new players every summer.

    I will have some small doubts until we sign a good striker and a good CB. We really do need to add quality in these areas to be a quality side. I'm very happy with the midfield and don't think we would miss McGeady that much if we sold him, although i do think he would flourish now we have better players around him (Juarez, Ledley). But £10 million for him and a new striker and centre back and i'd have no doubts the title would be coming back to paradise.

    nah, they have lost a good few 1st teamers and i think they will loose a couple more. cant see any player of any real quality wanting to join them atm.

    id say with a couple of decent signings, in the right areas, then this season will be one to remember.

    Am very confident about us going into next year, a think we need a centre half and a striker, if we get them we should walk the league, very impressed against man utd and a think even right now with the state the hunns are in, we could win the league with the squad we have at our disposal.

    Yes I have doubts. Doubts about us winning the SPL and even bigger doubts about us beating Braga, in which case Europe will be over for another year.... and how we need the big bucks from the Champions/Europa League to build up The Club.
    In other threads folks have been talking up the signings and how we will do well against Braga but the problem is at least 3 of them have not even played with the team and the away tie is in 8 days time. So getting past a settled and successful side with a new and untried Celtic will be an immense achievement - at this moment I think Braga's only weak area is their Goalkeeper.
    Regarding the SPL... from various threads Lenny is being hailed and no one can take away what he achieved at the end of last season, but unlike that Old Fox housed in Ibrox for his final year, he is untried. I just wish folks would separate NL the Footballing Legend and remember he is NL the vastly inexperienced Manager of our team. Don't get me wrong, I hope Lenny is successful as he deserves to be hailed as a Legendary and not a failed Manager.... So fingers and toes crossed.

    im worried we havnt got and CB's in. we need to build from the back. i think we will always get goals with what we have got. it was the silly goals lost last season that cost us the league.

    I think the hopes of our season drastically rely on us getting in a good striker. Never before have I seen us this close to a proper game without a goalscorer on our books. CB and LB positions will need to be filled but I think Hooiveld and Rogne will hold up for the first few games of the season and may even gel into a solid partnership.I think if Hooiveld can find the form we were led to believe he had when he arrived (two POTY awards) then we have a ready made captain, with Rogne its the old "If your good enough your old enough" and to me this boy looks like a proper player. Midfield looks very strong and I'm impressed with the acqusitions of Ledley and Jaurez. Jaurez especially should add some bite to our midfield sorely missing last season. Upfront as I say is where it hangs in the balance, a good signing, a goalscorer and I believe we will be infront come the final day of the season, without one we will struggle to score, and if you don't score you don't win leagues.

    I'm worried we'll be without a 25+goals a season striker.

    I'm worried we've no solid centre back who'll petrify opposing strikers.

    I'm worried samaras will con the club I to turning down offers before turning in another 1good game followed by 10 tames tha make u wann run o to the park and rip his head off.

    I have no doubts really. After last season it can only get better of that Im confident. As for the league. With the signing of a proven goal scorer we should have the league in the bag. If we get that goal scorer in before next week then we can beat Braga. CL is a posibility. It will be very difficult most of their vitories were by 1 goal. If we go there and lose 1 nil I will not be to bothered. But getting an away goal would be great.
