David James

James gives us both experience and a very capable number 1 keeper. He's Englands number 1 keeper for a reason and I'd love to have him here.

Zaluska is a good keeper but imo he showed last season he couldnt be our number 1.

 

James is a decent enough keeper but i don't want him for two reasons.Firstly his age.Yes he's good but if he did come up here it'd be another English prem player past their prime coming up to collect a decent wage.He won't be cheap so is he worth it??in my opinion no.

Secondly bringing in another keeper would just be insulting to zaluska who is a perfectly good keeper.Anytime he has stepped up to the mark he's been good enough.Give me one example of when he has made total blunders.I can't think of any to be honest but fair enough their may be one or two but not enough to merit him not being first choice keeper. Whatever happened to keeping the faith?How about putting some faith in Zaluska.

 

His mistakes have been magnified down there because of there media, i could probably count on one hand the amount of serious mistakes ( ones that cost a goal ) on one hand, not bad for a guy whose been in the game a while, in fact, 2 seasons ago Boruc probably had more serious mistakes in one season than he's had in his whole career,it didn't make him a bad keeper. don't fall into the English trap of '' calamity James'' leave that for theme lot down south who think there national team are world beaters.

 

why let boruc go he was younger is down to money boruc was geting £30,000 a week james would take lump sum and smaller weekly wage

James could get more money elsewhere. It's great that there is a chance of this even happening.

I don't know tbh. But i think if he wanted, he could stick around in England and get more cash.

he played good against us and we were linked with him as an artur replacement a few years back when artur was being linked with 10m moves to milan

 

Aye a know who he is mate, a was just thinking that Harry may have went for James because he knows him very well etc..

But i dont know that spurs are that close on that one, don't think they have bid yet, but it was on ssn

 

I'm really not bothered wether we get him or not to be honest.

 

hope this happens soon he would be a great assest to the squad and coaching staff

I am not at all perturbed about David James. We are supposed to be going after Kieren Westwood of Coventry City now according to Celtic Twitter

 

david james would be a great signing and it was his agent who contacted celtic not the other way about so he must fancy a crack up here. who knows but we could do with him
