I agree Wallace is a good LB and one i would like to see at Celtic but Hearts would want a fortune from him...especially if Celtic or Rangers move for him. I would pay the £4m or whatever they would want.

We do really need another keeper, Don't think we need to go out and spend millions but we need someone to come in as back up for Zaluska and push him for his place.

Think Zaluska desevers his chance as number 1 due to the previous displays but i wouldn't like to go into the season with no other real back up. Surely there are lots of keepers out there we could pick up for not too much money, We could go back to the polish market as we have done not too bad from that market before and picked up keepers for not a lot of money that we could have sold for a whole load of money

As for a left back would rather go for someone else other than Wallace, don't think he would be worth the money Hearts would be looking for.

 

Would Love Westwood, the boy the real potential to be top draw imo

I'm with others who say the money should go into improving other positions but Westwood is in his last year of his contract for a mediocre Championship team, he's a huge talent who's only 25 and will most likely be the next Ireland keeper depending on when Shay quits the International team. I think Westwood would be cheap, a great player and a huge hit with the fans up here.

 

i would love to see westwood up here, huge prospect and current ability is impressive.

Sorry but zakuska ain't good enough he has been suspect a few times he came in. I reckon get a decent keeper who zakuska can challenge with but not a no2 to him.

i'd love to see Westwood sign, one holy goalie replacing another, he's in final year of contract so would be relatively cheap. wouldnt be disappointed with James though.

 

i would rather have westwood every day of the week at celtic than what we have got the boy is class ive seen him play since he was at carlisle he would be a great keeper and he is only 25 aswell

 

They have stated several times that they don't want to sell Westwood. I can't see Celtic paying the price tbh.

 

coventry have said several times they wont see him leave on a free next summer, they'd be willing to do a deal from what i've read.

 

he has one year left if we stick in a 2m bid they would probs snap the hands off us for that, or they can lose him for nothing next summer

lets face it if he wants to leave them to go to a bigger club like celtic i think they would let him go and cash in on him......

what about Franco Costanzo from fc basle, would be very similar to Boruc in all ways, very good goalkeeper but can be a bit eccentric at times. He is the captain of fc basle and is in the last of of his contract so could pick him up cheap
