I don't want Kamara back, he is injury prone like Bullard. Much rather have Anthony Stokes. Think Stokes would rattle in 25+ goals a year for us.

I don't really agree with this "he bleeds green" idea. I think hes all in it for Aidan in most things he does. Seems like a petulant wee sh1te to me.

He has bundles of natural ability yes. But hes not going to get any better playing in the SPL. Hes stagnating. He would probably become an EPL player under Mon and it would be the best outcome for both parties if he left this summer. I don't think anyone is daft enough to pay £10m for him though. I hope im wrong but I personally don't see any bids coming in.

10 mil would be great business cos let's be honest we wouldn't be happy if lenny paid 10 mil for a player who rarely produces the magic he us capable of

i am for 1 would be sad to see him go but the money we get for him could change celtic football club for the long houl. and whuce replacment's do people have in mind. £10.000.000 is a lot of money spend .

Better players have left Celtic in the past 10 years dude and have been replaced.

The argument about McGeady can rage on, but Im not going to get into that, il just say I think the boy is far overrated, and his game has not moved on in 7 years in the 1st team, I will not go into the fine points of my reasoning, but he can and will be replaced.

I honestly thik you will be looking at around £6M for Mcgeady, witha few add ons, not amountig to the £10M qouted though, I think it will be difficult to get cash like that in the current climate for an SPL player, saying that, nothing is immpossible.

Dont see sides clamouring for his signature at the moment or over the past few seasons, so i think a team may name their price if Im honest.

I think a freshen up will be good for Celtic, and if we can get 1 or 2 quality signings in his place, then alls good at celtic Park.

 

i wouldnt sell mcgeady until we have a replacement lined up that we know can deliver week in week out. mcgeady may waste a few chances but often he creates those chances for himself and is one of the few players capable of a bit of skill now and then and we rely on his creativity almost every game.

 

If someone gives us 10million for him I will be over the moon best bit of outgoing business we have ever done. Should I let it go or would this not enable us to buy a quality striker like Robbie Keane? I would also like to bring in David James for a season or 2 which would maybe make Sol Campbell come too. Say what you like but in terms of experience and leadership you cant (we cant) do much better than those 3.

Also David James would be good for our dressing room.

Celtic will have a list of replacements lined up for months to approach if Mcgeady goes.

If Celtic get £6+ I would * the hand off you for him. Again, would be a great bit of business by the club, and could bring in 2 quality replacements ofa decent age.

Some people need to get over McGeady, the boys a good player, but again, we have had far superior players leave Celtic over the past decade and have been replaced. there quality out there guys, its just finding it.

 

Should get more than £6 mil being as £8 was turned down from moscow. I think he'll get sold and replaced by *.

But I won't be surprised if he stays as there hasn't been much talk of milliner going to city lately

 

I always like McGeady but he's never been used orrectly IMO since he broke into the team. He was far more dangerous when he broke into the squad and was always mentioned for the Lubo role.

On the left wing he's rarely produced an end product and had to do so much running back to cover Naylor. Its just never worked how we'd like. He's also never really done it at Ibrox and gone missing.

I'd prefer to see Aiden stay and be used in the middle but if he does go we can change the system around and not have to accomadate him. we are briing in hard working centre mids and we can play 3 together like the Oneill days when we dominated games

It looks as if Lennons delving into the market has been some what successful up till now, Ledley being a quality addition, with the likes of Liverpool etc... showing late interest, Jaurez is qouted, and Cha looks a decent addition also.

Then you have the likes of Sol and Bullard, experience and players who ahve played at the top level on lennons raydar.

So why the pessimism.

I dunno about the Moscow thing, would McGeady have went?

I would think that if Villa bid £8M for McGeady, Lennon would sell, and also Milner will leave Villa, if that has an effect on the McGeady affiar, i dunno, but Milner will leave.

Thing with McGeady is mate, he wants a new challenge, thats a fact, and will probably moveon, so chin up mate, as mentioned, far superior players have left the hoops over the past decade, and been replaed.

If he leaves for 10m, then fair enough. The point I was making is that No one has any right to come on here and say, and I quote" he got strachan the sack, he got mon the sack and he will get Lennon the sack" "let him go down there and make a * of himself!"

at times he carried other players, he has always had too much expectation of him from an early age. He gas given us good service in any case and we will get a huge fee, so that kind of abuse is uncalled for!!

I agree that ledley is a good signing, but I'll wait and see how the others do before I make a decision. Infact I'll wait and see if they get a game. We seem to make plenty of signings just for the sake of it, or to sell shirts.
