Strachan hasn't got a clue. He's sold experience and brought in inexperience.
We're playing for thrid place this season, mark my words and don't even mention the champions league. We'll be the chumps in the champs league.

 

What I don't understand is why we've spent so little money. Celtic have spent very little over the past 3 years as a whole yet we've reduced the debt by over half, getting 10 mil from this seasons champ league and whatever mils from the nike deal. So why the * are we acting like we're skint? I mean * *...it was only at the last minute celtic stumpted up a couple of 100 grand to get riordan before january...

By the look of tonights game and the previous 2 polish disasters (fit or not) we need 3 - 5 QUALITY players if we have even any chance of competing in the champions league.

We have no money. We play in Scotland so the income is limited in the extreme. Best get used to it. The days when we could compete in wages with the lower teams in the EPL are gone. We can barely compete with the English first division.

That's a load of toss. Sure, things are much tighter now than they were a few years ago but we can surely afford to spend 10 million or so every 3 years at the very least. The bottom line is money makes money. If Celtic don't spend then they are not gonna qualify for the champions league next season.

Look at the huns...look what they've spent over the past 3 years in comparison to Celtic. They're in the same friggin * league as you put it.

Rangers in my opinion have signed * so far. We will be ok in the league in my opinion. Maybe long term some of these young guys will do the business?. Would raher see a 18 year old in the side rather than Telfer ever playing again.

They maybe ordinary players but we have to be worried that Le Guen could shape them into a real team. Stars don't necessarily make a good team.

 

Not necessarily. Alot of it comes down to keeping the shareholders happy and lining the pockets of the board and it's members.

That's true jxer. I'd be happier if all the money went back into the team as that's what it's all about.
It's gonna be a battle next season.
