Left back situation

I was talking about Wilson being Dundee's best player last season

 

True. He was there best player the first half of the season and has done well, why not give there best player for the second part of the season a chance.

 

True but we still need a second LB, a natural LB not wilson being played out of position

 

Kadlec would be my choice with mulgeew in reserve but i think the Kadlec deals dead. I dont think Naysmiths good enough and i know you might disagree but i dont think Harte is good enough either.

 

I think Harte is a attacking full back and GS's system suits Harte more than the other two. What has Kadlec done? Hands up who has seen him play more than 90 minutes?

 

i must admit its only been short clips of him i have seen but
strachan's had him watch alot and obviously wants him, though his track record with left backs isn't too great with camara but hes really done his homework on this guy .

 

Give me Kadlec anyday, Naysmith and Harte are below par for me, and Mulgrew doesnt have the amount of first-team experience for the Champions League.

Pay the money and get the player, pre-season has already started and new players MUST be settled in by the time the season starts.

 

Have you watched Kadlec, squire_2? Is he just good player or just a slightly better option that the named above?

 

Sorry, maybe i should have mentioned that ive not actually seen him play and that im just putting faith in what ive read about the guy and the fact that i trust the judgement of our manager. Ive seen the other players mentioned tho, and if kadlec's price tag and the articles on him ive read are a true reflection of what he can do, hes definitely my first choice as our next left-back.

I'm not particularly familiar with progress of Kadlec's transfer, but if it fails I'd go for young Mulgrew
