It's addressing the original discrimation to makes things "right". If people had been given jobs on merit originally then there would be no need to use this method.

I have to agree with ASF there. A 'put group here' only day at anywhere is surely unfair. If it was a 'whites' only day at X place there would be controversy.

So, during their busiest period of the year they have a day that excludes 95% of the population. Aye right

I assumed from the term 'normal' UK people he meant natives.

Why was this thread even started. This may not seem racist to you but it is in its own way. These people are not at fault for coming over to different countries looking for work. Its the residents of our countries that feel that they are unemployed because theres no work out there, when in fact there's plenty work and they just wont do it because it seems crap money for doing a * job.But the trouble lies with the goverment for paying them more to sit on there * than do these jobs. If your against the folk coming and getting offered these jobs etc but your not racist then are you jealous of them for getting work when your stuck on the dole "and cant get a job". I've had some crap jobs and i've worked for some even worse wages but i've always worked exept when i was genuinly on the sick for just short of a year, and ill tell you i was getting a * a lot more for sitting about than for most of the jobs i've had but thats another story. Still got back in job when could. Give them a break. This was'nt aimed at anyone in particuler btw..
    .
Most sensible thing said lol bye bye

Ironically, if Irish people stopped moving to other countries that ratio would be much lower. Once again, I hope they get a better reception in their new countries.

    Rubbish and ignorance
For an Irish nationalist you do seem to share many of the views of an English Tory!

I realy dont understand people on here saying we dont have a problem and that there is still many jobs in our countrys .
Every day now hundreds if not thousands of companys are shutting and moveing to other countrys.and leaving may people jobless and so many moveing away.
Yes the irish immagrated we all did but in this day and age there should be restrictions like in canada australia etc.

The government have this idea of mixing the entire world with all different colours and religions and then when its all balanced out we all live happily ever after.....

The countrys are in a mess and its because of people like you that dont bother standing up for the best interests of our lives and our kids ect u just dont seem interested.

You are the kind of people that when ireland and scotland stood up to fight of the english half of our countrys fled to fight with them as they had a bigger army - GLORY HUNTING - and this has carried on to today.

I suggest you check out the Tory's manifesto on the issue, you would fit in well, Da!
ASF- You would be closer to the BNP. Scaremongering posts with vague and false statements. If thousands of business where moving to other countries everyday within a year the UK would be in crisis.
Textile and manufacturing companies have been moving to Asia because of cheaper labour but this has been happening from the early 90's.
As it happens the UK economy is stronger than its ever been in recent decades (fact), (helped by hard working immigrants!, detracted by 2 million of leeching natives)

There's nothing wrong with being up to date with current affairs and an interest in politics. Obviously who are not by the clap trap you post.

So immigration has nothing to do with politics.
where do you do A-level politics?
