    Pros of a Mac:
-Mac viruses are rare compared to PCs, but mac viruses do exist.
    -Very user friendly.
-Able to run both Windows and OSX.
-Great computer for applications such as business, photo editing, rendering, movie editing, etc.
-Unix based, thus more secure + stable.
    -Good multimedia computer.

    Cons of a Mac:
    -Upgradeability is limited.
    -Overpriced.
-People who switched from a PC to a Mac may be confused for the first few days.
-Many programs do not work on Macs. (unless you buy OSX software).
-Nearly ALL PC games DONT work on a MAC.
-Fixing macs is rather more difficult than fixing PCs.

    --------------------

    Pros of a PC:
    -Unlimited upgradeability.
-more than 95% of all the programs are compatible with PCs.
-Majority of the world uses PCs.
    -Inexpensive, very affordable.
-Great for everyday use, and GAMING.

    Cons of a PC:
    -Buggy, unstable; especially vista.
-BSODs and crashes can be frequent if you don't give proper care.
-Viruses are out there for PCs, ALOT.
-Virus writers and hackers tend to go after PCs rather than Macs.

Buy a PC. Either go with Windows or use Ubuntu as your operating system.

i would fork out and buy a mac well worth it.
very easy to use and never brake, ive had mines for 3 years now and i can say its never broken or even crashed.

And if your looking to play games on it, there is now a huge selection avaliable, and
if you wish you can instal windows on it, for those tasks that just need to be dont on windows
