They did get asked about other candidates, signings etc, and Reid said "they do not give running commentary" on Celtic's dealing's.

Did think that they would have had the backroom staff in order and had at least Mjallby there too. Hopefully by end of the week everything will be sorted with maybe a wee player or 2

Because he said it would be worth the wait. It wasn't. I am happy with Lennon but the worth the wait comment kinda made me hope maybe Lennon would be unveiled with a few big signings or a top class father figure, I'd be happy with Baxter.

Lawell was hiding! No idea why! They claim no one else was approached in any way shape or form.

wasnt my first choice but i'm pleased for him and from the players he's targeting then it looks like he knows what he wants

 

remember theese people are human and can tell lies aswel not everything they say is true and i 100% believe they contacted others about the job regardless of what they/he or anyone else says

 

totally not happy at all................all this wait and he's signed on a 1 year contract. Would be interesting to know if that's his/boards idea........

from the outside shows a total lack in confidence in Neil and will have a significant impact on signing quality players......... what player is going to sign knowing that his 'boss' might not be there next year

Don't you think they would have thought how embarrassing it would be to make that statement only for to have some manager say in tomorrows papers that he was asked about the job? No, in this case I don't think they are lying at all.....I think they had a list of possibles and discussed them privately without sounding anyone out just as was said.

 

MON had a one year rolling contract, as did WGS too I think....It was also said at the conference that the previous managers all only had a year contract when they got the job.

 

so why would managers come out n lie then like trapatonni hes 71 year old quite sure he could od without the hassles of been called a liar,just saying it wouldnt suprise me if they were lieng
