Does no-one care that our Holy Goalie might be leaving?

He's going and that will be that we have a * excellent keeper in Lukas and he will step up and be number 1 ,

The board will not let Boruc leave for nothing and he will be sold ,

 

I Don't want him to go, once hes gone i think fans will see that zaluska although an able replacement just doesn't have what artur has. Of all the goalkeepers in the world name me one who has more character and life about him than Boruc.

Also i really don't get this last year of contract won't be worth as much crap, ive seen many players who are in the last years of their contract and go for as much money as if they still had two or three years to go.

 

In terms of natural ability, it would be pretty much impossible for us to recruit a keeper of similar standard. On that basis, i've always been of the opinion that Boruc well deserved to be above Zaluska in the pecking order.

However, Boruc has been in poor physical condition for at the very least 18 months now. For a professional footballer, regardless of whether they are a keeper or not, this says to me that his mind and heart may be elsewhere.

If he's not willing to sign an extension, I would happily take the £3M for him, as we have a history of holding onto players for too long.

Well tbh i may take a tissue if the Holy Goalie leaves paradise without the sending off that one of the best goalies we have ever had deserves.

 

Should have been sold after he had the great Euro Championships when his value was at its peak. £7M+ for a keeper in the SPL is ludicrous money and we should have cashed in.

 

Boruc has been excellent for us i love the guy , but he has been slowly getting worse and yes he had alot to deal with in his personal life alot of people do .

He badly let himself go and that badly affected his form after the Euro's he was rated as 1 of the best in the world sadly now he would not even make the top 10 ,

He was rewarded with a bumper pay deal to keep him here ie 35k a week , now there is no way in * on his current form and state he would get this off the board , the club simply can not let him run down his contract then leave on a free it would be stupid ,

If he goes and we get 3/4 million for him and 35k a week off the wage bill that would be fantastic , i think the big man now wants away and wants a crack with a top European side sadly due to how bad he has been this wont be a Man utd , * etc , this will be the likes of Sevilla etc he has been linked with .

i think u'll find that there has been rumours about boruc and hes benn linked with sevilla a few times in the last month

 

If he leaves i want to see him better himself at a team with better players than us. Say an AC Milan or a Man Utd, because he could cut it at any top team in the world.

I don't want him to leave, but he has 1 year left on his contract and according to the rags he doesn't want to sign a new deal. I don't believe it, but sometimes they are right.

Even if he was to leave we have Zaluska who is just as good a keeper with less of the eccentric stuff.

But the eccentric stuff is why we love big Artur.

So no matter what happens i'll be happy that we had the big man for 5 years and wish him all the best if he leaves.

 

zaluskas desent cover and would rather get money for boruc than him stay and leave next season and not get any money and zaluska take over when we can just do the same a year earlier and get cash for him

 

i agree,i think he could cut it at the top also and hes better than any keeper,arsenal,bayern,ac milan or sevilla have got so theirs a chance he could get a good move
altohugh i do disagree that zaluska is as good,although i think hes a good keeper,i think boruc is a little bit better

 

i agree that didas gash see if we signed him i would be ragin,also hes better than almunia at arsenal and i honestly dont rate valdes at barca either hes got some defence thats why hes over rated IMO

 

I'm in no great rush to see him leave but at the same time wouldn't be overly disappointed if he did.

He's not the keeper he was 3 years ago, San Siro CL last 16 was his peak.

 

Dont want to see him going !!! our best ever keeper imo and we should be pulling out all the stops to keep him!!! zaluska is no were near as good as artur if you think he is you betetr go and get your heads checked

 

not that bothered if he leaves as long as we get decent price for him,people love him because he hates rangers and likes to show it ,he has been poor for a couple of years and only started getting back to his best in the later part of this season,he has had a similar career to lee naylor (started well, had family trouble,couple of poor seasons, started playing better at end of this season)yet they were treated so differently by a big part of our fans.

 

Only artur will know what he wants and like other players he might want a new challenge,if this is the case then all i can say is thankyou for being a celt and good luck in your new enviroment

 

i agree its awful that he is one of our best and most loyal players, who is a legend here, and people want rid of him at the sudden sniff of money? except obviously ur casillas's and buffons, i dont think theres many better keepers around and we are willing to sell him for pittance, pretty stupid tbh

and zaluska isnt a patch on boruc, i cant beleive that people rate him, he makes like 2 good saves and hes a great replacement for the big man. he has been our saviour so many times these past few years, might be nice to show him some loyalty as he has shown us

 

I care, if he leaves and our team isnt full of quality, cant even explain how * off il be, the only reason id let him go is for a top striker, defender and midfielder, he is our best player and a legend

 

I care. I would prefer arthur over robbie keane ! any day ! Love boruc bein at the club!
