I play as a sweeper keeper. Or generally known as that * wie the gloves that takes your knees oot.

In our fives team I have the record for yellow cards, even though I'm no supposed to leave that wee semi circle I always find a way of snapping the forward. Brilliant.

I used to play in goals or at the back but recently I've morphed into a striker. Or a target man type - getting into the channels, holding up the ball, playing others in, and closing down/roughing up defenders. I have a Fortune-esque habit of missing sitters but scoring screamers, though.

I was always very passionate about football, like millions of others I had dreams of making it to the top. Used to play for my school team and such but for one reason or another after school I didnt play much football, about 3 years I started playing again and joined a local club, was leading goalscrorer in training then it got to the big game and I was just too nervous, I didnt want the ball in fear of making a mistake, incrdible I scored on my league debut and kidded myself I was good enough to play for a proper team! Played for them for about 6 months then they closed down because we were getting beat 10-0 every week!

Joined a Sunday league team shortly after and going against fat 30 year olds on a Sunday afternoon wasn't exactly what I expected! I was only 16 at the time and with me only being 11 stone I struggled. Bench every single game freezing my bollicks off and finally realised I simply wasnt good enough. Very depressing time actually because I felt like my life was over! :54: Have not played a single game of football for 4 months! (Longest I have gone without playing) I realised afterwards I was taking it far too serious, it should have been enjoyable not putting ridiculous pressure on myself to be the next Messi! Im a good player (honest) but not even close to be playing for any professional club :54:

Anyway! I like to play as a striker, very pacey me (well I was) and a right fox in the box! I like to play as the second striker playing just behind a target man to win the knock downs for me to run on to them! Hopefully I will get back to playing for a team and start enjoying it and having a laugh

Up front preferably. I'm only really good at finishing and I don't really stop running so I think I make a decent enough striker.

Haven't played 11 a side since school. 5's is alright but I do miss proper football.
