A country without healthcare free for all is not a civilised one. We have absolutely nothing to learn from the US. Cant understand why people slaver over the US.

If anyone form NYC is going to head up to boston for this, I know I will. Either Amtrack or one of those $20 buses in Chinatown

Think this is a horrible idea. Why on earth are we playing a 'friendly' against the 'Forces of Darkness? Why are we going out of our way... 3000 miles out of our way... to have anything to do with them? Personally, I wouldn't cross the street to help them out, let alone the Atlantic, and lets not kid ourselves, thats what this is going to do. On a pure sporting perspective, what is going to be achieved by this? How are we ever going to escape that horrid 'O** F***' tag when we are actively pursuing such association, first through continuing a joint sponsorship and now this?

Although I appreciate there are many thousands of Celtic supporters across North America, as there are around the world, and have nothing against pre-season tours which raise our profile, but I fail to see what do they hope to achieve by this? There is a novelty of crossing swords with teams in an exhibition game that we would not normally do so in the course of a season. However, playing a 'friendly' against 'that other team' is a joke.

Yes, it might raise the profile of Scottish football - briefly - but given the terrible (and justly-earned) reputation that they have on their away travels in Europe, how can this be anything but a risk, potentially a disaster lying in wait even? The cons so heavily outweigh the pros on this. Bad, bad idea.

Fung Wah ($15 each way), Lucky Star, Bolt Bus ($1 preregistered) are all the cheap buses we can think of for now.

My husband is a Boston cop who frequently works Red Sox details at Fenway Park. He's willing to purchase a block of tickets so long as he's CERTAIN of reimbursement, he can also scope out seats and make suggestions, once we know how they'll be laying out the pitch.

i would much rather it be played in Gillette. it's just better suited to be used as a football pitch than Fenway is.

Another disadvantage is probably the fact people in Scotland will probably have to get up at a ridiculous time to watch a match between two Scottish clubs!

You mean the one they tore down :56:

Fenway was far superior. You can have your brand new stadium, no history at all.

They were on the rampage again last night; rioting with each other. They normally riot when they win, they often riot when they lose, and they always riot when they travel.

I'd be shocked if they even got passed the border controls in America:

American: Welcome to the United States, Mr Walls. What is the purpose of you're visit?
Hun [no teeth, wearing Hun top, sandles with socks, too-small-shorts] : Tae see ra Rainjurs! Fekin Championays! WATP!

Makes you ill thinking about it.
