We have to be careful with giving the job to someone just because they have Celtic at heart as this is not always the way forward.

When the board pushed WGS to get rid of all our high profile players to save a bit of money that was the start to our downfall. I could be wrong with my assumptions. Maybe that’s what WGS wanted, some how I don’t think so.

Either way, I don’t think Risk taking is in the vocabulary of our board and for that reason I don’t think the board deserve any more time to make stupid decisions that ultimately lead to our continuous downfall.

 

I agree with what you are saying but you cannot defend Samaras or any Celtic player that disgraced that Hampden turf today!!

I have backed Sammy to the hilt and today I felt let down by his lack of enthusiasm and will to work for the team.I was in the North Stand and in the 2nd half I watched him lose possession every time he had the ball, falling to the ground at the slightest contact then waving his hands in the air for 5mins while County broke up the park makin no effort to win the ball back!! Sammy would rather convince the ref it was a foul than get up of his lazy * and try win the ball back.

Is this really the right thing to do? We had players we thought were duds under Barnes(Petrov) and a new manager gave him confidence. Why not direct it at Lawwell instead, after all he failed to sign anyone except Flood in January last year. TM was a disaster but we were going downhill before him as we failed to invest or he failed to get anyone. The reality is we were not much better the second half of last season as we were under TM WHO JUST MADE IT WORSE. How can we attract a decent manager if he sees this?

 

Why should'nt Lennon slag them off in public !!! are they beyond any blame ??? if they dont like it they can * off. . If you or i were constantly pish at our jobs we would be sacked but these * get a game each week cos they cant be sacked.

We need a complete clearout, very few people should be getting paid at all this season, never mind being paid what we can all only dream of.

I like Lenny, but he's a bit slow on the uptake. Sammy & MAF have been * all season - scoring goals is not their norm...how can he be upset or surprised....he also wants McManus back....ffs.

I wanted him to do well, but he's just not got the know-how. Shame, cos I would've loved for him to do well. Blaming the players is an excuse, we all know how pish they are & so does he...

 

Why Lennon then Lambert. If Lennon gets the job then I why would we be interested in Lambert? Wee Lenny's interview after the game was as honest an assessment a manager can give. Fair * tae ye wee man.

 

Feel sorry for Lennon - but when he says McManus still has a future here you start to wonder. sorry neil but mick has had his day....how many more * ups in defence can we handle.......and if Josh Thompson is a footballer never mind a defender then be very afraid. Im sorry fair credit to Lennon for speaking with the fans etc , but this aint the man needed to take the club on and the board will not be daft enough to let this huge mistake continue on after this season , Lennon will not sell season tickets and he is not even anywhere near ready for this job he maybe one day but not now hope he goes off down south and cuts his teeth and works his way up and earns the right to be a manager at a club like this .

 

Mcgeady and O'Dea are young lads ofcourse they are going to lose the head at people who are ripping it out of them! Celtic were * today and should be hanging their heads in shame but notice to Darren put in a gud game and did a defenders job! Aiden was good aswell but the usual * ups here and there! my point is these 2 played ok and they obviosly thought they were the better of the team and didnt appreciate being criticised!. Celtic were * today thats it in the end and we better recover.
