So Who Stays?

If the people at the club think McGowan is so good then why hasn't he even been able to break into the team when Celtic have had their worst season for a decade? If he can't get in our team after the season we've had then he's clearly not good enough and the people at the club don't rate him as highly as you think they do. Paul McGowan WILL NEVER be a regular first team player at Celtic and you can quote me on that. The boy hasn't got it.

What's the point in signing a young player and not giving him a chance? I think the real question is..........What's the point in giving a young player who isn't good enough a chance?

 

The point tends to be potential financial gain. Sign him for nothing, sell him for slightly more than nothing.

We really need Centre Back, Centre Mid, Centre Forward all with strength and power.

Full Backs also are needed on both sides especially leftback

 

Boruc, McGeady, Brown, Hinkel, and Keane are our best and most valuable players. I really hope we keep them.

Fortune, Kamara, and Rasmussen seem to have a lot of unlocked potential. I think that at least 2/3 of these will be great players next year.

I like Thompson, and I think we should keep him, but if we can get someone to replace him as a starter and keep him on the bench as a sub, for injuries, and for friendlies and reserve games, I think it would be better. I think he has a lot of potential and maybe in two years he'll really be starting material.

The rest of them, I'm really undecided. I really think that the Celtic Defence needs to be rebuilt from scratch however, with players that understand Scottish football, the Old Firm, and what it means to play for our great club.

Truth be told noone in this team is good enough to play for Celtic. They are all duds, even Artur is starting to lose it a bit. We need a good experienced manager to come in and take this league title back off Rangers. Lennon has shown the potential to be a great manager but just not yet. The squad is a mess and this is a really big situation we are in. I think we need Gus Hiddink to come in and sign atleast 6 good experienced players (including a proven LB)

 

how has boruc began to lose it? he's improved shed loads since last year hardly put a foot wrong, and with gus hiddink your dreaming mate , mark hughes would be the absolute highest calibre of manager we could have a chance of attracting , gus hiddinks out of the question.

as for the squad all not good enough that's rubbish although 4 or 5 need to go. We need the spine of the team to be sorted and the rest will fall into place

Do you know just how big Celtic are? None of the players are good enough anymore, the signings are pish, the fringe players are pish, oh and btw tell me 5 good things boruc has done this season. I really like Boruc but it's time for him to go because I just can't remember the last time he made a very good save for us and also he is getting old and its about time we cash in on him. Zaluska should be brought in now

I knew somebody would try and bring that up but other than that I can't recall many other saves. I think Laluska has made more saves this season. Just leave it, I don't want to argue with fellow Hoops

 

1. Were not big in the transfer market , or in europe , the only thing we have atm is a large fanbase but even thats dwindling this year. plus were in the SPL which to other leagues is a joke.
2.il answer your question about boruc with a question, name 5 things hes done wrong ? oh and incase you didnt hear he won save of the season and hes made tons of good saves , he stopped us getting hammered at ibrox with 5 or 6 great saves , and hows keane a pish signing hes got a goal a game ratio.

I have a feckin season ticket and go to most of the away games, I think i know what im talkin about. And I think you know that when I talk about signings you know fine well I don't mean Keane, or any other of the loan signings for that matter, I mean the permenant 1s. I have already said I will not be drawn into and arguement with other Celtic supporters
