I have got to see McGowan's Reserve scoring record this year, everytime I look he scores at least once. And I hope that whatever manager we get, whether it be Lenny, Hughes or some random lad, that he does the right thing and lets Zhi go.

i think i am in the minority that thinks mccourtinho has a future at the club

if we keep him wrapped up in cotton wool for a while to get him near to as fit as he needs to be then he may start to get a bit more game time

and i would get zheng zhi to *

I would keep Mccourt. However he really needs to get his fitness sorted! But as Lennon once said nobody at the club dribbles like him.

How am I being harsh? If you read my post again then you will see at no point do I slag him off, so there is no "snide remark" pal.

Well thanks, I try to make a contribution to this forum so sorry for my "pish comment". Did I say you in particular did this? Eh, naw. However there are a number of fans that do this, so quit getting your knickers in a twist, it wasn't personally targeted at you.

Will only ever be an impact sub for the first team, until his fitness and work rate are sorted out. Undoubtedly has talent, and goes past defenders for fun, which is a rarity nowadays. Would love to see him in action , if he had Aidens fitness levels. Would love to see Paddy one side , Aiden the other !

mc court is a very good player, and there are players out there have told me so when playing against him in the reserves, and they all say the same, yous are mad for not playing him, as for the things he can do with the ball is amazing

there are some stupid comments on here.

    "just coz hes irish"

yeh ok then, same with keane, we dont like him coz hes fantastic or a celtic fan, its because hes from ireland :97:

when mccourt plays he his a fantastic player, theres no doubt about that, i couldnt give two * where he comes from, if ZZ could do what he does i would rave about him the same. its just unfortunate about his fitness

McCourt is a fantastic player, technically gifted and completely two footed but fitness and a lack of a more rounded game keep him out of the team. He will utterly destroy small SPL sides but in a game vs Rangers or a big team id rather have the security of a Maloney, who tracks back to help the full back.

I dont think McCourt is half the player he is made out to be,

Yes he has scored some fantastic dribbling solo goals, but he is not a team player. He either loses the ball or beats a few players and has a pop. There were so many opportunities today for him to make an early pass. I recall breading hes the new George Best? Are you kiddin on or what?

I wouldn't pick him anyway. That being said we don't have a choice at times with some of the donkeys we have.
