Roy Keane's C.V is not exactly what is required to be the celtic manager. So what he has experience within the english premiership as a manager he coundn't handle it. What chance is there of him handling the expectations from celtic fans.

No. I would rather Neil Lennon or Mark Hughes. :50:

Nup its a No from me.

He's got the CV of a forklift driver(no offense to forklift drivers) compared to the likes of Hughes but for me we should wait and see how the rest of the season pans out first before making any decisions.

Roy's CV is a lot better than people on here are suggesting.

    1. Took Sunderland from bottom of the championship to comfortably getting back into the Premier league in the same season. Very tough league to get out of and this was his first as a manager.

    2. Kept them up after been promoted, again no easy task as we have seen with teams in the past. The reason he left was not because he couuldnt hack it as a manager but was because as he says the american owners started getting involved. Looking for him to discuss performances with them, fair enough their money was been used but im sure as he would see it they shouldnt be involved in team matters.

    3. If Ipswich stick with Roy IMO i believe he will progress with this team. Ok things are not as rosey as he would like but football isnt easy. Just because he took sunderland up at the first attempt dosent mean Ipswich would be the same. they have had a lot of draws this season and were unlucky in a good few games to concede a lot of late goals.

To sum up, i dont think they is any real chance of him taking over at parkhead yet anyway but he would be more than capable IMO.

Not a chance. He's done nothing in management to suggest he is qualified for the job.
I met him when he was at Man U and he was a right smart *, moody * tae.

I answered Yes, but sometime in the future.

He definately has the motivational skills needed for the job, but not yet the experience...

We could say the same about Neil Lennon...couldn't we?

I prefer Lenny at the moment, but Roy Keane is much on a par with him, maybe perhaps Roy could attract a little better caliber of player?

Anyway, I am happy just now with Lenny in charge! :celt_2:

Sorry guys, but YNWA has to take it!
Never. If he loved us as much as he said he does, he'd take one look at his managerial record and stay away. Shocking manager so far
