should petrov stay or should he go to a different club

 

why should we keep player who doesn't want to play for us??

 

He doesn't want to play for us, so he can leave. It's not up to us though, his future is up to him.

yep i say he will go, if a player publicaly states he wants to be transfer listed then his heart isn't in it anymore. he has been a fantastic servent to the club in his seven years.....i would love it if he came to his senses and realised there's not many clubs as big as celtic....cant see it though.

 

its not the club, its the league thats the problem in his mind's eye

 

would like him to stay if he said he wanted to continue playing for the club etc but thats not going to hapen so i think selling him getting a good sum of money and with some money from cl qualification gs can go out and get a few decent signings which would really benefit the team as a whole

If he doesn't want to stay, then let him go. Get a half decent transfer fee and bring in someone who is willing to play. Simple as that.

It comes down to him really. Had he not asked to leave then of course he'd be a vital part of the team, but he wants to leave and we can hopefully use the money to buy a couple of players to strengthen us further.

 

He was one of my favourite players, he has the ability no doubt but if his attitude stays the same then he can go. I'd like to see him stay if he retracted his transfer request and then apologiesed to the Celtic fans.

 

I would love him to stay, if committed to the cause for 1 more year in the centre of the park with Keane for CL. Petrov will be worth the same money next year maybe more after CL imo.

Petrov, you should go now and dont let the door hit you on the way out,if you dont want to play in front of the best fans in the world and for one of the best clubs in the world goodbye Celtic will move on and no one player is bigger than the club.

P.S Petrov's number 19 is probably the place his new team finish in the English Premiership next season.
