Knew about it months ago, Lawell had pretty much decided Mowbray's fate after Ibrox, he was getting till the end of the season until Wednesday night's disgrace.

Well Lennon just said he had a fine working relationship with Tony, so take from that what you will.

It's not pish, it's true. Lennon is just trying to be professional.

Apparently according to Frank McAvveny, Lenny was allowed to be in the dressing room to try and fire the players up but was not allowed to be on the team bus with the team going to games, he was made to drive up in his own car. Obv i don't know if this is true but this is what Frank said on the radio last night.

It wasn't like it was made up on the spot mate, rumours were going about that it happened weeks ago.

So a disreputable newspaper passes off rumours as fact, and this is apparently more reliable than Neil Lennon.

    Still not good enough.

Did Lennon say 'the stuff in the papers is nonsense'? No, he just acted professional and said he 'got on well with Tony'.....he wasn't going to slate him in anyway, and cause more controversy.

Lots of people have speculated this is the truth, not just the Record. I think it's 100% true.

Your always going to get this kind of story when something gives like it did ,the press love nothing more than getting there teeth into story that has substance but they wont get it from Lennon.

Lennon was prob being corteous, you dont need to give those * pressmen anymore ammo - i see that * keith Jackson phoned his closet aussie mcdonald to get a exclusive interview.....how low can a player go that lets himself go drinking with this maggot.

What would TM's reasons be for this? That is just completely dis-respectful not to allow him on the team bus.

    Care to explain that one?

Mowbray did use Lennon to find out all he could about the squad of player he inherited. Mowbray had his own backroom team which Celtic paid for him to use. Celtic probably didnt want to pay off lennons contract and considering that we send McStay to Ujpest, a club that we have a formal business relationship with, I doubt your theory to be true at all.

Mowbray marginalizing him from first team affairs was very petty though and another contributing factor in his failure to manage his players as alot of them consider Lennon a good friend.

Lennon is increasingly reminding me of Tommy Burns tbh
