Do you think that Lennon will ask the players here on loan what there intentions are for next season and will determine what team Lennon picks ,thoughts.

Some people on here are unreal like!

Apparently you had to have a flourishing playing career with bags of skill and flair to be a good manager! * laughable!! Jose Mourinho was told at an early age he was not good enough to be on the pitch ,in any position, and I think he has done alright!!

WGS came in and wasn't given a chance by alot of Celtic fans despite his success, TM was hounded and justifiably so, and now Lennon is given the reigns til the end of the season and already, before he has got his * name badge on he ain't good enough.

When are these fans going to give a bit of support to whoever is at the helm of our club!!

Its ok to want someone to be good at there job guys, why don't ya just give him a chance and if he is no good then slate him.

YOU DON"T HAVE TO HAVE BEEN A WORLD CLASS PLAYER TO BE A SUCCESSFUL MANAGER!!!!

I have a lot of time for Neil Lennon.

While being passionate doesn't automatically make you a good manager, it's not a bad starting point. And I think he knows the game. He has been around coaching for a wee while and will have picked up a thing or two from O'Neill and Strachan.

Maybe he and Mjallby will be more of a 'presence'. I'd be * scared of a telling off from either of those two if I wasn't pulling my weight.

He doesn't need to be a tactical magician between now and the end of the season. Just lift the spirits and try and play a settled team. If he can organise the side well and get results he will have to be considered for the job.

Personally, I think it is too soon. He only has a handful of reserve games as his 'experience'.

Bi Polar? I didnt think it was that severe but if he's getting treatment for it then there isnt an issue. That Tanner guy should shut his mouth.

I'm looking forward to seeing Neil at Parkhead. Loved him as a player, if he does as good on our bench as he did in the old playing days, then I would be delighted.

However, just because he's Neil Lennon doesn't instantly mean he will do grand job at Celtic. I will give him chance and back him, just like I would do with any other man who was appointed. Larsson, Lambert and lads like them would be welcomed at Parkhead as saints, while Mowbray's arrival was looked at with caution. I annoys me a bit, he's our manager, support him and have time for him.

    Welcome back home, Neil.

Right now, I think Lennon is just what the team needs. As this SPL match preview blog points out he'll bring plenty of aggression to the side and certainly won't let the players wallow after losing 4-0. He'll provide a good short-term boost til the end of the season, but, I'm not sure I want him long term... He's got a chance to prove himself though.

They were saying on the news at lunch-time that Neily is going to adopt the Martin O'Neill approach to managing the team ie. He's going to let Johan Mjallby get on with taking the training etc and Neily himself will take more of a back seat and just concentrate on the team selection, team talks and tactics.

Not sure how they know this like but that's what they were saying...........
