Bellamy and Keane in the same team would have been frightening. Always sickens me a bit that Keane came when he did and not a bit earlier, or even the season after he joined because I think then and in Europe he would have had a massive impact for us, he's always been a big game player for Ireland.

I know people got * off with his 'I've always supported this club' stuff but I actually think the criticism is a bit harsh. I know for a fact he said years before he had even got to Celtic that he wanted to play for us at one stage. He also said it about Liverpool which I think is genuine as he supported them and Celtic growing up. Not sure what other clubs he said it about?

Here's an interesting aside: if there'd been a 'Celtic nations' team (involving players from both Irish sides, Scotland and Wales) playing as one national side in international competition from, say, 1996-2006, would it have had the quality to win a major competition?

Probably a semi/quarter final team in there, not sure about winning it though.

I think Bellamy's goals felt like they were worth more as well. The league was practically over by the time Keane arrived, but it was still all to play for with Bellamy. His goal at Ibrox could, and probably should, have won us the league.

Problem for me with regards Keane, who I voted for, was that he was ALWAYS about the money.

Bellamy, however, proved that it was football for him when he went to Cardiff.

Both were brilliant for us, but Keane was in a shocking Celtic team by comparison.

I always said, and I maintain, that had Keane stayed at Celtic, he would have been immortalised as a club hero, but the allure of money always dictated his career. Going to the states showed both a lack of ambition and a want for cash.

It would definitely have some decent attacking options.

    Collins
    McFadden
    Burley
    Maloney
    Keane
    Quinn
    Duff
    Doyle
    Bellamy
    Hartson
    Giggs
    Hughes

Im irish and Robbie keane is a freaking hero to me but I have to say craig bellamy was better, best striker since Larsson in my opinion. I felt like crying when we didn't sign him permanently.

    Bellamy fo me.

More pace and had more of an edge. Could do more outside the box as well.

For me 2 superb players but I give then nod to keane who proved to be much more durable over his career then Bellamy.

Keano! Both good players and were great for us! But Keane made one of the shittist seasons a bit of light with his deadly finishing.

Keane in terms of goalscoring. Easy.

Bellamy had other attributes which made him just as good a player though. Close call.

Bellamy because he tore the Huns apart and Keane didn't.

More durable gives Keane the edge?:56:

In that case Giggs was better than Ronaldhino as he played at the very top for much much longer
