Now before anyone starts shouting the odds add me (well typing them), Im only putting this thread up to see what people think.

To me I think if Celtic have any chance of getting Keane next season, it will be on another loan move, a season long one then maybe at the end of the season, because his contract at Spurs will be winding down, we could get him say £4-5Million? I don't know how it would work, & theres no point in trying to guess, but I do think that might be what Celtic will try & do.

The thing is though on the night that Robbie Keane came to Celtic, Lawwell said on sky sports news "Who knows maybe Robbie's stay will be beyond the summer" thats what got me thinking Celtic have something in place or up there sleeve, maybe the money from winning the league & getting into the Champions League was what he had in mind, don't look like that is going to happen that way now, but a loan move certainly could be on the cards again & if Keano is up for it, we will all welcome him back, & if we qualify for the Champions League who's to say we won't make it permanent? If Spurs want him off the books, a cheap deal could be arranged & Celtic being as shrood as they are can pay the transfer up over several years, so say £2-3Million up front & the rest paid over 2 seasons or something..

Either way what do you guys think? It would be amazing for us to start next season with a strong settled side & with Keane leading the line for us would be perfect :50:

Why not both? Kamara will only be £1- 1.5Million anyway & Keane on loan again, why not? :icon_mrgreen:

I don't know about Kamara being 1 - 1.5 mil, Didn't Fulham pay 7m for him not so long ago?

Keanes weekly wage over a season would bleed us dry. Saying that i am a misserable * and would settle into the board quite comfortably haha

Ye, but he hasn't really been playing, so maybe they just want him out, Spose maybe he would be dearer, but Im sure I read somewhere (Maybe was on here), that he would only be that price, but again we won't know till it goes threw, but would be good none the less :50:

look at samaras,7 million man city forked out for him,to be honest i think we would struggle to offload the guy on a free now.so why not get kamara? as for keane,i think a swap deal with an amount of cash would seal keano,i would be happy to see brown or mcgeady going as i dont think they have what it takes, especially brown.

I don't think it was as much as that. But he finished that season as the best forward in the championship in terms of goals. I think he's pretty good and think he is genuine class. Its just so happened that he hasn't had much time to make an impact but he has done ok out wide.

I like Kamara aswell man, Fulham fans were bewilderd he got sent out on loan.

Would like to see him get a chance upfront instead of out-wide.

I know its not the most reliable source..but they usually know what there talking about..be easy on me. On the new Football Manager update Kamara has a 1m buy loan clause.:celt_2:

If Keane stays... now that would be a coup !!!

Would love to see it, but don't get people's (including mine) hopes up before something official is stated. I'd rather be pleasantly surprised if they announce a deal can be done & he has agreed to stay instead of letting hopes rise up and then he is away anyhow, and being left disappointed and dispondant.
