STOP THE TREBLE

Well i think after that shambles today we can all agree the titles dead and buried for this year , now we need something to strive for and that should be winning the league cup and stop the treble at all costs ,

 

I agree to an extent, however I'd rather we won the Scottish Cup and stopped the treble

its very easy to stop the huns treble, get rid of Mowbray now cos Walter Smith will beat this clown every time they meet

 

Sack Mowbray now and put that other clown Venus in charge cause a can't stand to watch another minute of Mowbray's pitiful depressing face.

 

im not arsed about stopping them win the treble this year, would rather someone at Parkhead looked at the team and said right, where the * is it going wrong and lets fix it in time for next season. If it means we spend rest of season blooding young players or trying to play different positions, formations whatever it takes to make the team work then lets do it, and sort it out once and for all.

 

I'd put everything into winning the scottish cup now, though the treble is not what it used to be TBH now that the football is so poor in Scotland.

This is now the time to gauge how many true fans we have; people who are willing to take the bad with the good. every team goes through a bad patch - as celtic fans we have been through more than our fair share! Though I've got a feeling it'll highlight how many fair weather supporters we have - who'll only turn up when we're winning every game. Attendances have been dropping recently and that only serves to put our club at an even bigger disadvantage - so now comes the time to see our club through this rough patch by getting behind them for the rest of the season. Win, Lose or Draw! how is it the song goes? FAITHFUL THROUGH & THROUGH.

That would be a really sore to handle if they won the treble ,a team that has no money and no new players bought in a year and it doesnt look like they can spend again the summer and Celtic who on the other hand seem to have money but have no team ,when you look at it Celtic have been trying to find a settled team and its not happened ,on the other hand rangers had no option to play what they had and it has worked out for them because there team hardly changes .

 

If we don't win the Scottish cup then I don't care who wins it , huns or whoever , even if it gives tham a treble.. I couldn't give a flying one.. The huns gaining success only bothers me when it's directly at our expense.. i.e old firm games , or when we are relying on them to mess up to get us back in the title race..
Other than that they are a total irrellevance to how I feel and if they add two tinpot cups to the only cup that matters each season then good for them..

 

I see what you're saying to an extent, but I can see why fans will want to stay away if there's nothing to play for and we're already out the title race. A measure of the fair-weather supporters would be at the start of a season when we were terrible (During the early 90's) but there was still something to play for, not now I reckon.


I'll still be going to every game....but it's so disappointing.

All i want is 11 Players who will give a * to wear that Jersey.....not 11 journeymen....no more "we take it on the chin and move on" No more scott brown as captain or at left back..no more Rasmussen on the bench for a south korean shirt shifter. etc etc - This * Board better wise up and do something ASAP cos if they want to sell season books etc they better come up with GOOD answers.
