yes id still rather have him there than not but no player should escape criticism just because hes a fans favourite. artur is a top class keeper and i hope this game puts down a marker for his return to past form. no one can claim hes been performing anywhere near the levels he was at when we got to the CL last 16 twice

 

Absolutely outstanding today, though you cannot avoid criticism where it's due as he's had his dodgy moments this season.

 

I see you still dont understand it, its nothing to do with fans favourite player! Its only to do with not right behaviour its a big difference. Its the change of mind what i mean before the game for example here in forum the poll results of Transfer The holy Goalie? stands yes lets sale him! And now after the game the result stand 64% No dont sale him! This is what i mean with not stand behind him. Of course everybody can criticism a player when he dont make a good game but you must stand behind him!

 

i get what your saying mate, that some fans are all for selling him before the game yet after today hes back in favour. And as far as standing behind him goes, i think that most fans, myself included, are still 100% behind him and would like nothing better than for artur to return to past form.
however just because i stand behind the players and give them my backing doesnt mean i cant also give criticism where its warranted.

 

Now we must look to the future and begin to biuld a good solid team for the next season. Begin at the defenders they are the key to the championship!

 

I have slated him this season because i dont think he has had a good season simple as that. I will concede that he was one of our star players today and some of his saves stopped us from getting beat by a less flattering scoreline. I hope that this is the first game of many in which he is back to his best, in fact not arsed about rest of this season, as long as he is back to best for next season then im happy

 

Boruc was at his best today and man of the match in my opinion
but most likely be gone in the summer.
i must admit i lost a lot of faith in him lately but credit it to him today

Boruc was outstanding today & deserves a lot of credit.
I've been critical of him this season, & I stand by my sentiments, over the whole season, Boruc has been poor, & I think a change of club will be good for him & the club in the summer.

where he has been up and down for us,i am thinking that he might just want away,a new club might be a new challenge for him he's not the same as a few years back and if we like it or not we will see a few of our big names gone in the summer to generate some more cash flow

dont get me wrong i am a Boruc fan am just being realistic
