Magic needs a proper partner. He will combine well with Beattie or Miler and that will revolutionise our football

senseless *. no matter if Magic's world class or not, he scores a lot and as far as I know thats what this game is about. lots of praised 'world class' players these days, who play *.

I'm a bit biased cause I'm polish but I really don't know what you want from Zurawski. The last time I checked a striker puts the ball in the back of the net. Look at Ruud Van Nistelrooy...he score most if not all his goals from 6 yrds out. As long as the ball crosses the line right. Joe I guess you're looking for an Henry still player who likes to play with the ball. That's gonna be tough to find. As a coach I would want my midfield to play w/ and pass the ball and my strikers to finish. That's magic's job and he does it well.

Why would you want drogba on your team when all he does is take defenders one on one and take ill advised shots?

I realise we'd never get a RVN but his overall play is of a good level, Magic's finishing is great but i think his overall game is not good enough for the club's ambitions. I have said i would retain him as i see him as a valuable squad player. In the modern game you need to do more than put the ball in the back of the net at a club like Celtic - Andy Smith, Kris Boyd, Craig Brewster, Stevie Crawford, Craig Dargo, Nacho Novo the list goes on of players who've scored goals in the SPL, it's not that hard. Our recent strikers from Pierre to Hartson have all scored 20+ but have had a better all round game IMO. As for Drogba, on his game he can be unplayable, you don't get to Chelsea and play regularly if you are a dud.

You have lost all credibility by your Drogba comments.

Why? Drogba was immense in France. Okay he has blown hot and called in the EPL but if you believe he wouldn't get a game for us your are deluded. It is far from easy playing as a lone striker at the top end of club football as he does. Is Crespo a mug as well? He seems to play second fiddle to Drogba.

Seriously, no one cares about your opinion. If we listened to your "opinion" before we got Zurawski, and actually didn't sign him because of your "opinion" we'd be 20 goals down.

I didn't say he wouldn't get a game for Celtic, but saying that he is unplayable and using him in the context of being what Magic should aspire to is just silly. He is no where near what I would consider a £24m buy.

I'm not saying i wish we hadn't signed him, i never have. I imagine if we had signed an alternative they may well have got 20 goals in this league, or Beattie, had he not been injured may have done so. Goals beyond 20 in the SPL is a must for the Old Firm. As it happens i think he actually has 14 laegue goals

Zurawski makes some amazing runs, we have not had someone who can make runs like that since larsson.

Well except bellammy - wish we still had him !

Since Larsson we have only had Camara and Bellamy! Discounting Aliadiere of course. I'd genuinely have either Camara or Bellers before Magic. Bear in mind when Camara and Bellers played we did not have as accurate and creative a midfield to supply them.

Joe, friend, I'm sorry for saying that but I think your opinion about Magic is a pure bullshit.
Yes I'm from Poland and I support Wisla, and I'm here mostly because Magic plays here. But.

    you wrote
    a) Maciej's work rate in matches is not the level satisfies you
    b) You'd rather put Bellamy on the pitch (heh, gooood very good sence of humor)

Look how many guys told ya that in their opinion Magic works/run enough, more than enough. I remember him in Wisla after our main playmaker (Szymkowiak) left. Maciej runs from the box to the box fighting the ball and he had plenty top-class assists, not only goals. When there was a need, Magic was there.

But what I think Magic is not a kind player you like. Yes, maybe he does't run so much as (for example) Bellamy. Find and ook Wales-Poland match i WCQ. Bellamy was runnig all the match. Zuraw sometimes, if he needed. Zuraw scored, Bellamy didn't.
Magic's style is more about technique, inventing a surprising pass, moving on poosition that anyone expect him to be, etc. That's much more than running. He's not a british 'kick-and-run-football" player.

Look a beaty he scored in Poland-England match. Look at second goal in Schalke-Wisla match. Look how he scored against Wales. Look how little opportunities he miss. Look at his enormous precision, imagination, speed, creativity. What do you want more from the world-class finisher?? He doesn't play much on the shoulders? Who the F... orders him to do that? Say better - the way that Strachan ordered team to play is not I expect, that will be ok. Don't say Magic cannot do it. He proved he can, many, many times.

Of course, there are some guys better than him. Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Messi, Henry, maybe some few more. But how you can move such a players to Celtic? Even if I think he's not so far away from them. Really.

Ok so it is fair to say you are a Magic supporter not a Celtic supporter. To say Magic is a superior player to Bellamy is absurd. To suggest he is near the level of Ronaldinho or Henry is fantasy. I accept that there maybe more to come from him all i am saying is on the evidence of this season i am not sure he is Celtic class. Based on the arguments put forward Kris Boyd must be one the worlds best.

i notice that the majority of people in this thread are satisfyd by magic bt im going to go against them i am a season ticket i sit in the lisbon lions which gives me a good view of zurawskis all round play . for me he is heartless he doesnt put in the effort required in my opinion he gives in too easily and the ppl who sit around me agree , he goes for the ball with no passion at all he gives up far easily. it might be because he isnt with a great strike partner , this might be what makes him look average , hopefully he can prove me wrong when he has a better partner in miller but so far he has been good bt im not totaly convinced .

Look out for the backlash mate. Summed up my opinion perfectly though. It may well be the selfless attitude and desire of Henrik and Sutton was exceptional and we are niave to expect it from everyone but i consider it to be one of the biggest crimes in football to lack heart.

Maybe he doesn't put in the effort because of the injury he had. This year world cup will be probably his last one so he has to be careful if he want to go to the Germany...
