At the end of the day no one is stopping anyone flying saltires at celtic park and no one is against it. If you want to fly it then take one and that will solve the problem, if you dont then dont. :50:

Green is green its a colour not specifically related to Irish, green is used in many other flags in the world it just happens we have a traditional green strip with irish roots throughout the club.

    Too many to name.
First of all, derogatory name calling is out of order specially from one tim to another. And secondly, no one has a 'duty' to follow any player or team they don't wish to. We are free to decide who we choose to like and dislike, whether it be at club or international level and for me it's only Celtic Football Club that holds my interest and have done since I was a small kid. The Scotland set-up does not interest me in the slightest or any other country's set-up for that matter and this is the choice I make of my own accord.

So you'd rather support Lithuania than Scotland because they have some Rangers players in the team. Why don't you * off and live in Lithuania then?

I understand all the arguments here about it and can see why people have made the decisions they have. Myself, I'd like to see alot of Scotland flags in European games. At home (Scotland - home or away), we are playing Scottish clubs so we dont really need them plus the blue doesnt look that good in between all the green but the Irish flags go well and as it's part of our history, I have no problem seeing them. But if we did have green and white Saltire flags on sale at the Celtic shop or at the flag 'n scarf stands outside the match, I can Guarantee there would be lots on show all the time. That would look really good beside all the Irish one's imo

So bring one. Whats stopping you?

Incidentally, the Saltire flies along side the Tri-Colour above the North Stand.

Did we not have a thread on this a few months back. every so often a fan gets a bee in there bonnet about it. A fan that probably never takes a saltire to the game.

I dont see what the big deal is. Its only a flag and its not Hampden!

Maybe he likes the food in Scotland rather than Lithuania?

Let him support who he wants. I know English people who want to see them lose. Does that mean thy have to move country? [I'm expecting someone to make a snide comment about the last paragraph i said.]
