As a celtic supporter I will believe that we can win any and every competition that we are involved until it is matematicaly impossible.

The league has a lot of games to be played yet and who knows what could happen?

I was going to vote no but I thought why not be positive.

Yesterday was a good day for Celtic for a no. of reasons, the most important being the Rangers game was cancelled.Going to Ibrox 10 points behind would have put more pressure on us than them, now they might be worried about only being 4 clear.

Keane seems to be the leader we have been needing, he may not be captain but he's shouting at some of the players when they do something he doesn't like.

Rogne & Thompson were good yesterday, that was their 1st full game together, thay will only get better.I would play them at Ibrox bit Mowbray probably won't however.

I finally saw what N'Guemo is about, he & Keane were my MOTM, especially N'Guemo. He's not going to take a game by the scruff of the neck but he is quietly effective in what he does.

I find it unbelievable the amount of Celtic fans bursting with optimism now after winning one game. It's been the same all season after winning a game only for us to drop points in the next.

We beat Dundee United 1-0 at home, we would have barely called this an achievement in past times. It's not even as if it was a comfortable win, they could have easily scored with 10 minutes to go when it was a one on one with Boruc.

And people think we can win the double now when they didn't last week?

    Get real people.

We didnt even play well as a team v DU. We were poor until the last half hour IMO, with loads of bad passing and losing of 50-50s. I think next week is the last spin of the dice. If we do not win then anyone who thinks we are still in title race needs help.

The best we can do is just not get ahead of ourselves and take it 1 game at a time first and foremost without talking about beating them twice we must win our next game to put the pressure on, i believe they will crack and i dont think its quite over just yet, there game getting called of yesterday was a bonus for us, if we sneak a win next week were right back in it, a draw is not acceptable anything other than a win and we can kiss our chances goodbye

[QUOTE=kennyd Celtic will probaly have to go and win the remaining games and rangers need to lose 4 ,Celtic can claim 2 of from that 4 but we need another 2 teams to take 6 points from them ,

Surely dropping 5 points will suffice, giving the huns the 3 points for their game in hand (which I think is questionable) will bring them back to the ten point advantage.
With us winning the 2 homes against them brings it back to a 4 point difference. We then need them to draw 1 game ( 2 points dropped) followed by a loss to a.n other ( 3 points dropped giving a total of 5 pints dropped giving us a 1 point adavantage.
Or alternatively for them to draw 3 games outwith our games against them will give the 6 points we need, that is of course assuming we win all of our remaing fixtures.

i will only believe we can if beat rangers next sunday and cut the gap to 4..

two years ago with around 7 games remaining rangers were on top by 6-7 points with 2 games in hand and we came back to win the league but we beat rangers twice along the way so if we next sunday then anything is possible.. keep the faith..:50:

This season has been like a pendulum swinging one way and then swinging the other mate. I don't know whether I am coming or going under Mowbray. It seems to be one step forwards then it is one step backwards. I sometimes feel we can win the league, then I think we will lose it by 16+ points :84:

    I think I am going bananas :56::56::56:

Well you are bananas to swing back into Mowbray's favor after winning one home game 1-0 with a poor performance.

I agree mate we have been in this situation a few times where we have clawed a few points back all be it let's not forget it still is potentially 10 pts,as we found out against killie where we were calling it 7 behind.every other time I have said we can do it only to be kicked in the balls next game so this time I will say we can't to it. As for tony Mowbray he should def be given more time but only if we close the gap to 4 or 5 points cos anything else against the worst Huns team for years is unacceptable

Anybody got a wee nagging feeling the Huns got off lightly yesterday? Freezing morning, early start,St.Johnstone with their tails up after Hibs result?Getting right in about them with the same hunger from only 3 days earlier? Now it'll be midweek at night after the Perth saints have drawn with fkn Hamilton and lost to Falkirk or something-nowhere near the same form.

Ofcourse we can. This situation has played out the past 2 seasons. One team getting ahead, throwing it away and the other streaking ahead by about 10 points. Then the team in pole position hits a rocky patch and the chasing team picks up their form.

It is definetley possible. I cant believe people can be so negative!
