John Hartson - Celtic aren't good enough.

Hartson tells it as it is, if certain people or players don't like that's tough !!!

 

John Hartson in his opinion is fine, 95 % of celtic fans know whats needed, 5 at the back first, TM will know that, but the toys start to get throw"en out the pram when players are droped up front, when we play more defenders the running back type of defenders are of no use to celtic, if they play as defenders then they dont come any futher up the park than 25 yds out from there own goal area but they can still thread balls from that distance

 

he's telling the truth, but it probably goes deeper. Here come the mind games again, letting the huns think we dont have a chance which might make them take things easy, dropping stupid points in the process (imo)

You say that since he had been idolised with the massive get well campaign, he seems to now have an air of arrogance about him ???

I mean you are directly linking his illness to the air of arogance due to us idolising him.

Again, its guys like you, who have Celtic standing still, by getting on their high horse when anyone in the media says anything that may be down on Celtic. You ought to take a reality check, Hartson stated 3 weeks ago that he thinks Rangers had won the league, did you take issue with that also.

Cause as it is, he seems to have been spot on, get a grip pal...

 

I'm with you Irishshooter. He just annoys me these days. Mabye we should just give him the job, since he clearly knows what he's talking about.

 

Hartson's career was effectively ended by Tony Mowbray so he might have a dislike for our manager but I don't know , they may have great respect for each other.. Hartson hasn't been saying anything over the top anyway , but also isn't really offering much support in way of saying wait untill a fully fit backline is playing again and then judge.. Probably a bit dissillusioned by it all , the same as many of us are..

i met the big man in my mates pub about 14 months ago,a less
arrogant gentleman you will never meet.
nothing to do with mowbray "ending" his career he loves celtic and
says it like it is.
could listen to him all day,very knowledgable

 

Everyone knows whats wrong with the team. I like Hartson as a person but dont care for tabloids or most of the media. Dont need to pay to read opinions lots of well formed ones on this forum anyway.

If you read any of my other posts you would know im more critical of Celtic then Hartson, what I was saying was all of a sudden he thinks hes in a position to be the Celtic critic in chief now because he's been hugely supported by Celtic fans through his illness,

I didnt say for a start that hes cocky now because he had cancer that would be pretty stupid and even more stupid if you assumed thats what I meant.

So climb out of your own * there for a moment and realise that someone may actually have a different opinion than you.

I really suggest you look at some of my other posts in other threads before you start coming back with more irrelevant *, whts next your going to call me a Hun is it

big hartson loves this club like hes said many times before. Hes just basically voicing what many supporters are thinking. Id rather he write about us, gd or bad... than not write about us at all.

 

he has a point if we're sitting so far behind the worst rangers team in living memory.

Hartson is a fan like us and he hurts like us so he is saying basically what we post after games ,he can be angry as any normal fan .
