Steady on mate, Hartson scored over 100 goals for us - this guys only played a handful of games.
I like the look of him but to call him the new Hartson? . . . . Lets just hope so eh :50:

Hes played 1 and a quarter First team games = 3 goals
    45 mins in a reserve game = 2 goals

Thats 5 goals in under 2 games, thats firepower if you ask me.

get him in the first team tomorrow Tony!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He doesn't have the strength of BBJ who was an absolute beast. He looks a good poacher tho.

There's only ONE John Hartson. Guy is a proper legend and was one of the most dominatig forwards I have seen. Ras looks a fifth good player but more of a poacher than a target man. Van still see
him hit a ton if he stays long enough

Ras looks a good poacher, but i dont think he could boss a defence about the way big bad john did.

Your probably right there which i think is a bit crap, this guy has scored goals when he's played and Keane has misssed alot of sitters!

Not ready for the first team start yet, especially with Fortune on the form that he is, and with Keane's ability and wages - we're not paying him 65k / week just to sit on the bench. But I like him as a supersub this season - next season, when we'll see Keano and perhaps Kamara off after the loan ends, Rassa could get the starting spot.

How can you say hes not ready for the first team when everytime he plays he has scored apart from his debut.

anyway what has wages got to do with merittin a start. if your good enough you play. :31:

I'm saying we didn't bring Keane in for nothing. And just because lots have the mentality that every match he'll score, obviously TM doesn't think he's ready for a slot in the starting XI. He's not as experienced as Keane, nor does he create the space, draw the defenders, make the runs that Keane does. Keane is a more intelligent player and is forming a good partnership with Fortune. Therefore Keane should play ahead of him. For this season he will be an impact sub against greater opposition - could see him getting a starting slot in lower cup matches.

theres no denying that keane isnt a better player but we were all begging that we sign a goalscorer in january and rasmussen is that man. so we sign a goalscorer and dont play him? Keane is a far superior player however his finishing isnt as good.

how is it when samaras misses the chances keane has been missing then every1 is on his back yet the crowd chant keanes name for missing the same chances.

would go a front 3 with keane and fortune either side of rasmussen.

Let's say Ras stayed on the current pace he's on (which he won't if he starts every game). You would have to wave bye to him in the summer. I know everyone is excited but I really doubt he's gonna score 1.5 per game for the rest of his career. I like the player very much but let's not be overly expectant.

Not good at finishing??? I think he is working the kinks outta a move to a new club. He is a top notch striker. He has an eye for goal and we have all seen that in england. he will start scoring. trust me. No reason to mess with formation now anyways. that would put things all outta wack on the pitch. I think AmericanCelt is right in the fact that Keane and Fortune are good up front. And have Rass as supersub. If he can come off the bench and score he will secure his spot in starting XI next season
