I don't think he looked comfortable when he was under pressure today.

Still, it's another clean-sheet and I've got very high hopes for him.

By far our best CB and for someone so young he can only become better. Amazing that he has never been on a losing side in every game he has started and finished.

He's been unlucky with injuries we can but hope those days are behind him.

Good player but needs to work on balls out. To many punts instead of playing the ball out to feet. But not taking away from the bhoy impressed

No, couple of errors today, one that almost led to a goal (well in big Fraser).

And as fms mentions, he can have a tendency to hoof clear, rather than play it out of defence.

Still, he's only 21 - and that fact that we are already judging him by pretty high standards says a lot for him.

Puts his head through everything, solid in the tackle and is positionally good for someone so young.

We just have to hope a) he stays fit and b) learns to be a bit more proficient at passing the ball out from defence. Although in fairness his no nonsense style lends itself well to the league we play in.

Rogne and Charlie compliment each other perfectly in the centre of defence. If we could consistently field a back 4 of Mathews Rogne Mulgrew Izzy then I would be very confident about our defence.

He never finished that game I think, I'm sure he went off.

We should all forget his performance that day anyway, he was rushed back from injury.

Great big player, but I don't think he will become a regular for us

He went off when it was 1-1. Same when Edu scored in the last minue he had went off at 0-0.

I thought he was poor today. Caught out with the long ball a few times and his passing was atrocious. Just an off day hopefully, because he's normally solid.

Yeah I noticed a couple of errors, which I think were possibly down to a lack of concentration. Nobody can blame him for losing focus when we are playing a team like Dunfermline who have nearly no attacking threat, but Celtic defenders need to stay focused for 90 minutes.

However, he is a cracking defender, him and Mulgrew look very impressive together.

I would be happy with that defence too, with maybe Ledley at LB when the occasion demands.Thomas Rogne is turning out to be some player for only 21 with not much match time experience this year due to injury, but I reckon Rogne and Mulgrew have nailed those centre back spots down now, with Rogne always good for a headed goal at set pieces and of course Charlie is the dead ball master ( shades of Barry Robson there ).

Thought barring a couple of minor slips, he looked the part today. That said I dont think our defence had to do much.

Big fan of Rogne in general. He is still young and still learning but looks composed and does the simply things right.

Big Tommy is 1st and foremost a defender, excellent in the air, quite quick, strong in the tackle and for one so you young reads the game like a very experienced professional....

Admittedly his distribution requires a wee bit attention but having Muldini as partner takes pressure away from that area.

another CB brought in Janurary and i am a very happy tim

    Hail Hail

Caught out a couple of times, but still looked a class act and composed. He does punt it a bit too much, but so did most of the team today, and when you have Mulgrew next to you, maybe a no nonsense punt is good occasionally, either way class back 2 we've got, don't really want to see either of them replaced, but then maybe sign a cover CB in case he get's injured, although Wilson should do that job..

We rarely concede when he's playing, played 33 times but 24 clean sheets.

He has never left the pitch with us losing.

He also recieved his first ever booking today, was never a yellow card either :celt_2:

Some good stats there. But remember he did get the * ripped out of him in the cup final last season.
Apart from that though he's done very little wrong and is a quality defender.
Isn't rash, can head a ball past 2 yards in the direction he wants, lol. Can score the odd goal too (should have had one today).
The lad really does have a bright future and hopefully he is over his inuries.

Our best defender, along with Mulgrew. I'd have those two starting alongside each other for as long as possible throughout the rest of this season and beyond. Some excellent stats there.

Also should have had a goal today. Hooper was in an offside position, not Rogne.
